Poor supervision of the program also allowed one agent to steal $25,000, the audit said. These are the cretinoids we are entrusting with Constitutional limitation of power, and enforcing the discretion of the courts?

    The Bureau had "no comment."
  3. FON on Schneier Says 'Steal this Wi-Fi' · · Score: 2, Insightful

Bruce mentions FON, which has dual capability APs - with both an open and a private net. With a proper IP scheme, you could even firewall the Internet upstream, to block P2P when the source is on the open net.

I have a similar setup - but I don't have FON APs. I run an open AP, with all of my machines and services on an internal VPN.

Robots do not want to have sex with you. Are you listening, Japan? I don't have a clever comparative simile for this, because frankly you bags of meat will fuck bicycles if they're laying down and not putting up a fight. Just stop it. There is no robot on Earth that wants to see a bag of meat with a small prong on the end approaching it with a can of WD-40 and a hopeful smile. And don't get me started on that terrifying hole that squeezes out more bags of meat.

I wanted to start my own dirigible run from Africa to India: "Trans-Imperial Air Safari". Instead, a few intel agencies will use this for eavesdropping and sub-orbital comms stations. :-(

But what if you are trying to read something in those Windows? My 4-year-old grandson writes on he windows all the time, and gets a good spanking for smudging the glass. Which reminds me: It seems like Microsoft has entered the Windex business - something they used to leave to real technology companies, like Symantec and Johnson Wax. Speaking of which, why doesn't Microsoft just start learning from Dow Corning, if they want us all to have clear windows in Vista?
