Oh yes, because all of the 'successful' countries with all of the 'brightest' minds are just wallowing in spare cash these days right? Never mind recent massive layoffs around the world interfere with your, I guess you think deserving insightful, post. Or maybe, just maybe that the poorer nations might also have some very intelligent people but this is too far out there to even consider right?

    *sigh*

Why would a company pay for a 'drooling brain dead fanboy' who wouldn't have much of an audience? Surely they'd only pay for someone with a lot of followers who has raised respect in the twitter-space already.

When it's not hard to find motherboards that support sata raid then yes, I would expect it to be easy to use.
I know 'average' users (trades people to retirees) that have started to ask about mirroring so they don't lose their videos, pictures, save files, etc due to a hard drive crash so I definitely expect sata raid to be easy.

As I've never been into the US or seen statues like that one (here in Australia we have big things like pineapples, cows and prawns ...) it really reminds me of a line in "The Emperors New Groove" with how the shot (might be just the camera angle) makes him appear to be an emperor:

Yzma barks, "It's no concern of mine that your family doesn't have ... what was it again ... food?"
    The villager mutters something inaudible.
Yzma finishes, "Yes, well you really should have thought about that before you became a peasant."

I find it depends on what it's booting from. I use a mac air now and use to use a pro. I found that if I just close the lid so it goes into a shallow sleep it is up and running in a couple of seconds. However if it's from power down and needs to boot fully it can vary from under a minute to a few minutes. From a deep sleep is faster then powered off and it gets the environment exactly how I left it. I almost never see the boot screen these days which I think is how it should be as I do much the same work every day.

I heard on the news yesterday that Obama wants a trillion $ bailout approved (it didn't state if it was to raise 700b up to 1t) before he gets into office. The story then alluded that he was planning to invest more of this into businesses so I don't think he'll be just 'buying' votes and it didn't look like he'd put more of that new money into defense or any other government spending. Yay for corporations. My fingers are crossed they spend it wisely but I'm not holding my breath.

"We don't make any money when someone rents it, and we don't make any money when someone buys it used".

I find this to be an odd statement. I always thought that rental games were like rental movies where the store pays a substantially larger sum to the distributor the right to rent out the product. So if this is the case, wouldn't they have already made more money of non-buyers then none at all?
