Reading this I am more glad that I decided to go to grad school last year to avoid this entire economic tsunami. At least my paycheck is safe for a little while and continue to publish may be 100 papers a day to advance our scientific research.
If you are using Windows XP, by default you should be able to read REAL Chinese characters instead of the one you listed. (No, those are NOT Chinese characters.) Try websites like yahoo.com.cn and see if you can see legit characters.
If you can, that means something wrong with the WHOIS database that you are using. Try a different one.
Many MMO games will ban you if you have multiple people using a same IP address.
For example, I used to attend a community college where ALL user machines (not file servers, web servers or mail servers, just user machines in computer labs) on campus (thousands of them) use one single IP. This gives us big problem to host tournaments because usually the software will flag as cheat.
It is much easier to increase the efficiency of the DNA repair mechanism then to do something on "time", something that you cannot actually touch or visualize.
There is a hard limit for the electrical circuit design on how fast you can go. Able to reach 6GHz under any circumstances means the maturity of AMD fabs. You can't just use liquid nitrogen and overclock a 80486 to run at 5GHz.
"When I was in grad school the best predictor of success in mathematics PhD programs was verbal GRE score, but nobody advises students who score perfect on the English portion of the ACT to think about being a mathematician. I wonder why that is."
You are discounting a large group of people who score below 400's on the verbal GRE and able to finish the PhD. Those who holding a F-1 or J-1 student visas.
Oops I didn't read the title. I though that the person who asked the question have a niece that has perfect ACT math subscore. But she doesn't want to get into engineering or science, and asking what she should choose in college. I just describe what my GF has done.
Most economist get their money by teaching and writing books, or put up a lot of speaking engagements. In that case you will need to go all the way to a PhD in Economics. A master's degree is not enough.
High paying specialty may have high risk of not getting jobs at all. Or may be in just a few cases.
As a side note, I know someone who rack up 6 figure student loan to finish a PhD in Electrical Engineering and still haven't able to find job in the past 18 months (in the Chicago metro area). There are cases where schools don't have funding for research students.
And yeah you forget about military physician, which you can of course come out with no debt too.
Med school doesn't start until you get your bachelor's degree.
Basically what happen is, you study whatever you want in the first 4 years (or whatever time it takes to get your bachelor's), and then you apply for medical school. So in your case, i will do my computer science courses, plus a bunch of biology/chem/anatomy+physiology courses on the side. Then take the MCAT exam in your 3rd or 4th year. Apply a year early of course.
The following is a great, well written document on how to get started. It was mention here on Slashdot before, but I couldn't find the article.
A professorship is one of the most recessive-proof job around, and many professors do have outside consulting that rake in >100K a year.
Or even better you might have a shot to the PhD program which is the only way to get a nice job, such as being a professor.

The second page of the paper mentioned something about "... 2GHz Intel 386s ....."
Anyone who have some knowledge of building their own computer will reject this paper.
by forwarding extra revenue on the euro conversion rate to subsidize the DRM removal for all EA games.
Bill Gates probably counts.

Get a life!
There are debt collectors willing to buy merchant's chargeback and will harass the card holder which initiates the chargeback.
Most companies treat "chargeback" as fraudulent orders. You might be inviting police attention.
YOu should always go with the company return policy first. Use chargeback only as the last resort.
Well they both have the word "Java" on it, probably easy to get confused.
If you have someone who put Java/Javascript code into a Perl bin then you have a much bigger issue.

You can read more about that here:

This is a clone of "ibane".
This way it takes loads off from judges and law enforcement needs for warrants.
You don't need the law. You can claim that the man is a threat to "national security" and you can drag him away for good. No question asked.

With the current financial crisis I doubt they are going to fix until 2010.
Millions of people in China are doing it everyday.
