This Microsoft cr*p is ridiculous.
It is now the time for anyone and everyone who spends a significant amount of money on Microsoft products to seriously evaluate their options (i.e. consider open-source and related software products).
From product activation to (fill in the blank) to this latest EULA fiasco, I think most people have had just about enough.
Well... would you settle for Alice, Q3, Aliens vs. Predator (yes, old game on Windows, but the new Mac version is very nicely updated and still fun), Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Oni, and a bunch of others?
Hmmm, maybe these new b0xen will actually be able to run OS X and all its interface dandies without feeling like you're on a an old 386. The windows transparency, although sexy, is really rough on the machines; I have yet to see an Apple machine that can run OS X smoothly.
This makes no sense. From what I hear, Hollywood has "seen the light" with Linux, as it dramatically reduces their costs. Therefore, I doubt they care about what happens to Microsoft.
Are you joking? If it weren't for mirrors of news stories, images, and video from the disaster, many people wouldn't have been able to find out what exactly happened. Every single traditional news outlet basically failed yesterday, and if it weren't for mirrors of such sites' data, we wouldn't understand the events of 9-11 as clearly.
Do you personally feel that we should forget about what happened? I think we should all be reminded every day about what these cowards did to the United States, in hopes of rallying the troops, so to speak, against the perpetraitors.
The best comment I've heard was that we should rebuild the towers, but this time have three -- two smaller ones on the sides, and in the middle, a much taller one, symbolizing a hand giving the middle-finger to whatever cowards were responsible for the act.
You're entirely wrong. Just wait for the next Killer App(tm) that requires a 1+ GHz chip and watch the prices slowly creep up. No offense, but your comment reminds me of Bill Gates' remark almost 2 decades ago about 640K of RAM being more than enough ever for anyone.

No, I just enjoy correcting morons like Taco and yourself.
That's sad.
I guess.
That's just fuckin' sad (by the way: I would gauge that you are both a pillowbiter and a cockbiter).
Is anything not "sad" to you? Just curious...

And by the way, Coward, I'm a junior computer science & engineering major at a well-respected private university where I am the chairman of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). I also have a high IQ and don't hesitate to arrogantly and effectively deal with scum like yourself.

Hundreds of Internet Protocols in a log file? Oooh, I hope TCP's in there -- that's my favorite!
Yeah, we need Infinite Justice against those rat bastards ;-)

Excellent idea.

Sad, but true.
Here's a great site with info on how to make a *really* quiet computer. ;-)
You get the point. 99% of the people have thanked me for providing the resource; if you don't like it, I'm sorry.

So, I have 142 average to high-res images on a page I threw together, as well as several videos. The site, http://www.students.bucknell.edu/ekrout/images/911 _In_America/images/gallery/index.html, should be able to take high-abuse in terms of bandwidth, etc. It's a resource, so feel free to use it.
