    Auto shutdown has been a bane to the lives of windows users for years. Why shutdown the engine? Surely the roads will just be clogged with 17 year old drivers disabled Vauxhall Corsa's and Ford Fiestas. Just limit the speed to the designated speed limit, making it impossible to drive too fast, till the system gets cracked at least.

    I really regret buying the xbox version for just that reason. There is a whole world of user created content that we poor foolish console users miss out on.

    I love valve, they really take care of their fans. Any other company (Read as Bungie) would make you pay through the ass for a couple of new maps. Thank you Valve, keep setting the standard.

    Movie revenues are up over the year, piracy doesn't cost the movie industry money it just prevents them releasing as many terrible films. Many people will buy a movie they download if it is good, but not a bad one. Eventually movie houses will have to produce less dross and more higher quality films.

    I was working as an odd job guy at a community center, I made dozens of cat5's and ran all their cabling. I got paid minimum wage, so it was a bargain for them, but paying a full time IT tech to do the job is probably a waste of time and money. Quality wise I have never noticed a difference between cables I made myself and commercial, just make sure you test them before you run them, and leave a generous amount spare in case you need to cut the head off and fit a new one.

    I installed the release candidate last week, and it lasted for all of 25 minutes before it ate my desktop. I love being on the bleeding edge, but it doesn't make life easier or more productive, just more interesting.

    These filters are based on the premise that sexual deviants are also idiots. There was child pornography before the internet there will be child pornography with a filtered internet. All this does is set a precedent for a government to censor what it deems harmful to the greater good.
