If we can do pretty good at populating that before it is destroyed we can look into more continuation options such as dimensional travel, time travel, or perhaps something so strange it hasn't been even imagined yet.

My biggest problem with wow questing and leveling is it has no greater effect on the rest of the world. I do a quest to help rebuild a bridge and 20 levels later I run through that area and the bridge is still busted.

Basically WOW is little more than a single player game with other people running around. Unless those other people talk to you or challange you in some way there is nothing else that they do that affects you.

At a minimum I'd like to see a real horde vs alliance power shift over time. But really I'd like to see quests that I do have an effect on the rest of the game. I know it would be hard, but with the amount of money that is in this it shouldn't be too much to have developers that can create on the fly questing. Real game world affecting problems that need to be solved and a more dynamic world in general. Why are miners digging the same hole for months and getting no where?

Although I've never been a big TV blamer in the past I did hear one convening argument that covers this type of thing. People have become so used to problems cropping up and being solved in a 1 hour show, that longer term, real projects like this, budget balances, war, etc... always seem to be run badly. If Rambo can run in save all the hostages kill off the bad guys and be home for dinner in 2 a hour movie why can't Iraq be settled and back up in running as it's own safe, secure little country. When SciFi was new it was inspiring. Now that it is so common place people are use to watching Star Trek people in space and wonder why the hell the space station is so difficult.

Everybody is affected by this as a whole. Public perception is a lot diffrent than personal understanding.

You're a bit wrong on this. The problem and advantage of oil is that it is already stored energy in huge reservoirs underground. Biofuel on the other hand uses carbon, solar, and greenhouse gases in its creation. then releases them again when burned for a net impact of near 0.

Actually it would be. Due to the fact that you, or more precisely the sugarcane plants have to pull carbon out of the air for them to make this you end up with a close to net 0 impact.

The reason Oil is so bad is because instead of pulling the excess carbon out of the air we are pulling it out of the ground and pumping it into the air. net impact is closer to 100%
