Hello, Drkstr1. Now you have. Over the last 10 years I ate very health and exercise extensively at one point for 3 years getting in 4.5 mile jogs 5x a week. and was still 5'10" 220lbs with a belly. I had found a drug at the time that helped get me below 200lbs (effedrin?SP?) but it was taken of the market (my conspiracy side says because it actually worked. sure a few unhealthy people couldn't handle it but...) I tried monitoring ketones for about 5 years. It helped but the weight still came and the satisfied feeling was never there. Eventually gave up. I'm still active but do exercise less. Now that I'm in my 40s, without a breakthrough similar to this story I doubt I will ever be below 200lbs again and still in the obese range for BMI.
Why isn't this done for video conferencing systems. would it be difficult to have a tiny camera embedded in the center of the screen? A small spot on the screen shouldn't be entirely too distracting. Would work great for this type of setup: http://www.zdnet.com/atlassian-builds-portal-for-video-chat-1339327884/
So replace lawn with restaurant and manning the cash register so I may work less. The concept is the same. I can hire 10 people at $5 an hour or 5 people at $10 an hour and just make them work harder. That's 5 people not getting any work.
When I hire a kid to mow my lawn for $4 an hour I don't make any money off his back. He gets some of my desire to be lazy. Minimum wage laws say I have to pay him $7.50, forget it I'll mow it my self. Now I'm less happy and the kid is less paid. Overall bad for society.
I think that's the ban nanny's payback for not being able to do gun control. "We may not have taken someones constitutional rights away but we can at least ban magnets."
These days the scariest words I seem to hear are "Someone has to do something." No, no they don't. Sometimes it's best to do nothing.
This is just not true. look at expeditions to the north poll. Through history Government sponsored expeditions were cost more and failed more often than the more numerous private and commercial expeditions.
"A much more likely scenario: After self driving cars are common, some human driver backs over a kid, and people ask why we should continue to allow humans to drive."
A much much more likely scenario: 10 kids a day are backed over by human drivers, but when one kid sometime in the first 10 years is run over by a self driving car they outcry will be instant and vicious. Self driving cars will be nothing more than a historical dream.
I know this is embarrassing, but you accidentally put "free market" in your paragraph about housing when you obviously meant government backed loaning practices to people that couldn't afford them. Just wanted to make sure you didn't look like a complete idiot when trying to say that had anything at all to do with a free market as that has not existed in that area, probably ever.
exactly, under capitalism man exploits man as equals, under communism man exploits main as totalitarian ruler, completely the other way around.
Why does it even need a box? If it's an advanced robot all it should need is a plane ticket and some cab money.
You seem to have some suppressed sexual frustrations. Are you not getting enough blowjobs?

Are you saying HDMI actively strips the closed captioning from the video feed? That is evil.

They are holding him personally responsible for the actions of others using something against the directions.

Repeat after me: "The economy is not a fixed size pie."
The goal is to make everyone a criminal that way you can selectively enforce against the people you don't like.
Yea, kinda ruined my point, meant just the fastest bandwidth, drop the average.

I'm sure 60 minutes will rig one to back over a kid intentionally.
Hmm who has the fastest average bandwidth across the entire country:
US 2013 Broadband average 6.6 x 300M = 181800000000
Israel: 2013 Broadband average 30.9 x 8.5M = 262650000
That's several orders of magnitude less.
My guess, the list of people waiting on organ donors will get longer.

Wouldn't doubt if China has a similar view.

Huh?
No, only you seem to say that. I gave the only truly valid alternative: coal.
Currently, yes. Especially in Japan.
