Yea, but it's about the same as Microsoft support. You know you pay $X ammount and you have to wait on hold until you can get someone that says they don't know how to fix the problem either.
Of course you can pay for better support but really it is either waiting on hold for less amount of time, or if you pay for the enterprise support option they will even send someone out to you to tell you they don't know how to fix the problem.
Except you'd still need some kind of containment field that may reflect photons with in it. Or from outside it as well. this would make them seem like solid object to each other and to other laser bolts but yet still let them cut through bulk heads and taun tauns like butter.
Watch the movie again and take this extra point of information into account when seeing them miss.
Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader placed a tracking beacon on Han's ship. They then had to allow them to escape in order to track the ship back to the rebel base. The deathstar is a huge place. After falling into a gabage compator and ending up on some unknown level they were able to find their way back to the ship rather quickly. This was because the stormtroopers were hearding them back to the hanger. They were missing on pourpus. If you notice non of the Deathstars laser batterys fired on the Milinium Falcon on it's way out either. Then Moff Tarkin says to Darth Vader "I'm talking an aweful risk here Vader." Leia figures it out and mentions it. Han denies it as being impossible "...Not this ship sister."
The main explinations for this were in the books by Timothy Zahn. They did get a clone of a good jedi that had fallen to the dark side due to mental instabilities. Also the accelerated growth technics delt with denying the force to specific areas during the growth cycle of the clone. Thrawn used a creature called the ysilimeri ?sp? that had a force tallent of repelling the force making a small bubble where the force could not reach.

Or it could be the fact that the line is more like a party. It is a chance for like minded people to get together. I already have tickets, assigned seats and can walk into the theater ahead of the line, but I will still be the 6 hours early just to hang out with the other fans.
That could also be because ANH was still building the empire. The senate had just been disbanded. The Emporor was really only recently exersizing his supream power. etc...
Just because Tarkin requested for Vader to release someone doesn't mean he was barking orders. Vader was still #2 in ANH. Tarkin was asking Vader to release him in a demanding manor. Sort of a you're being rediculous, release him. No diffrent than how you may tell your boss he is wrong when he is doing something stupid. Especially if he was doing it for personal enjoyment.
The biggest thing I'd like to see is permenent evironmental damage to the maps. If I shoot a rocket launcher into a house I want to see some of the walls blown away. If I shoot enough of them I want the WHOLE DAMN THING TO COME DOWN!! I want to see doors riddled with holes. Things damaged beyond repair. Chunks of the rock walls blown out. Doors that get stuck due to grenades, and requireing more grenades to blow them open. Enough rocket fire to the bottom of a large structure brings the entire thing down killing all inside.
I do agree that Empire was the best, but being a huge Star Wars fan, one of the movies at least once every couple of weeks I have found that Empire doesn't have the replayability of EpII EpIV and EpVI. EpI is the only one that I find not wanting to watch repeatedly moreso than EpV.
I saw Lucas about 3 weeks ago at CIII. He elaberated on his problems with EpI and EpII as being the character development portion of a story. Something he never liked to do and wasn't very good at it. Unfortainatly it was his baby and he didn't want to give it up. Now that the development is out of the way he can go back into the putting these people into situations and playing it out. The parts he was good at.
If you check EpIV-VI there realy isn't any character introduction. They are dropped right into situations, and develop. The introductions are left to reading between the lines.
Both of my accedents I was stopped and someone rearended me. Once at a stop light some kid 16-17 inexperenced driver. Once on the free way in a sudden traffic jam. I stopped short of the car in front of me, the guy behind me didn't stop short of me. Put me in a bed unable to walk for 6 months due to a broken back (luck to walk at all.)
Probably no where near the number of users that have it from their FC2 and FC3 disks or by apt-get install firefox or emerge firefox. I'd guess it is close to even.
I don't use the Linus-certified apps but I do use the Debian-certified apps. And just like hte kernel sometimes I compile third party apps that may or may not work depending on if they are following Debian.
Yea open source drivers and GUI settings tools are great but can't they also give out free hand jobs?? I mean geesh it's not like they are that expensive to begin with.
I'd say rais the price to 22 Billion and give 10 7 & 5 to the first three companies to keep them on the moon. Otherwise if somenoe falls behind they will give up where as this way falling behind and still making the requirements doesn't mean you lose out completely.

Sci-fi has become little more than a vehicle to push stero types without directly offending real people.

Or just that it is actually a number. Last time I checked 50,000,000 is actually a real number in line between 49,999,999 and 50,000,001.

I make up for it with my 3 machines in front of me that have it but was downloaded with apt-get install firefox.

1) rais money to save Enterprise
3) Profit!!
SCOs screwed.
State all the evidence you want but I still don't belive that satalites can track people in real time.
No, that's everywhere.
