    Hmm, 100 billion planets that might be able to support life, one that does. At least one in 100 billion. Not made up at all. Possibly wrong. Uses a single data point. Etc..etc..etc. but still not made up.

    A parallel study says that, of planets that can support life there is at least a 1 in 100billion chance that it will form there.

    The rest of the world just isn't smart enough to learn the US Standard system. It really confuses them, and the only way they can maintain any sort of smug sense of superiority is by belittling the way we measure cups and feet.

    Yes, the 60-100 million gun owners in the US could probably take up stake knives and take out most of the 1.5 million military. Look how difficult it is to gain any kind of control in the middle east. And those are people that have been excessively demonized. How easy would it be for soldiers to fire on their own friends and neighbors?

    been playing the Mod for a while and I'm running a server now. This was a fresh change to gaming in general. I really like the no scripted scenes "make your own story" style of the game.

    Hmm, looking at the definition for impacted tooth there is this "It may be that the area is just overcrowded and there's no room for the teeth to emerge." so yes, very similar to an impacted tooth.

    xinetd can. we launch a separate sshd with separate config file from xinetd with response from only certain ip addresses.
