Yes, the 60-100 million gun owners in the US could probably take up stake knives and take out most of the 1.5 million military. Look how difficult it is to gain any kind of control in the middle east. And those are people that have been excessively demonized. How easy would it be for soldiers to fire on their own friends and neighbors?
been playing the Mod for a while and I'm running a server now. This was a fresh change to gaming in general. I really like the no scripted scenes "make your own story" style of the game.

That makes about as much sense as a job posting for a truck driver saying Ford F150 preferred, only because the Ford F150 is the most common truck in the world.
