it was a fight between the republicans wanting fewer social programs and having control of both houses while Pres. Clinton wanted smaller military budgets. Along with a booming economy from the internet that was pushed far to high. Once that bubble popped we tried to inflate another, that one popped. Banking popped. It's all popping. It's almost like an economy of popping corn.
yr 1 $100 CPU (narrows the required research down just pick the fastest one within $10 of $100) $100 worth of RAM, what ever that comes up to. last time I had a hard time spending that much and I think I got 4G for about $70. $100 Motherboard. Try to pick one with the features you'll need.
yr2 $100 worth of hard drive $200 worth of extra stuff (keyboard, mouse, cd/dvd, case, power supply, etc...)
yr3 $300 worth of stuff (monitors or similar to yr2 stuff)
then back to yr1 Been doing this since around 1998.
for one thing the biggest argument for fiat currency was so the government could regulate the boom/bust business cycle. It has shown not only to worsen it by making the booms and busts bigger but has also been shown to be abused horribly.
I don't think he ever once said it would fix everything. It would seriously help though to have it based on something that the supply isn't as easily gained as hitting a print button.
so you're saying that when Vinny and his goons show up for their protection money they're creating money? Or when a tweaker steals all your electrical wire and sells it to a recycle shop they're making money. Of when your son steals money out of your wallet he just generated some revenue.
you seem to have no clue what making money is. A company makes money by creating something and exchanging that something to someone else for money, thus both parties profit.
Fees Penalties and taxes are not making money they are taking money.
I realize playing golf is always a fun way to make fun of executives who's entire job is relationship building, of which playing golf is a great way to do it, and I am no fan of the mega corps and current banking industry made possible only though government regulation. I still can't see how the very minor 25% decrease in workload of a single worker compares even slightly with the entire redundant departments and people who could be completely eliminated in government positions.
That's funny, unwanted mail in the US has the same name as a canned processed meat like product. I could see how toilet paper would be appropriate most of the time.
Maybe you should look into how reliable cars were for their first 20-40 years of existence. Some would literally break your arm when you were trying to crank start them. Software is still a very young marketplace.
Yea, I could understand forgetting about a loaded and primed muzzle loader, but a "SEMI-AUTOMATIC" Pistol!!! (big scare quotes)
Sorry, you obviously have no idea what that means. I don't know of any pistol made for home defense that is not semi-automatic.
Rarity alone does not cause higher prices. Demand is also required. The unexpected part is that there might turn out to be collector demand for these.

and it makes me sad. I'd say just being an LLC makes you >1% subsidized.
at about 1/2 of one percent of the amount. Look in other replies to my original post to find sources.
I use my $100 rule:
yr 1

I'd only call it mildly successful when it can run at least 50% without government subsidies. and fully successful when it is >99%
I don't belive we'll ever be able to get back a US where there isn't government subsidies in everything.

My home router constantly has regular attacks on it. Have I ever thought I was on a cyber battlefield? No.
There is a cyber war, but it's within our own government, and it's over who gets the budget dollars to fight it.
it came out in 12 bits.

It's illegal either way. There are only direct consequences if you get caught.
