there's is_computer_on_fire() funct that actually checks the processor temperature and a is_computer_turned_on() which you were supposed to call before anything else...crazy stuff

So I guess that means the link from google to k5 to slashdot to the alpha is also "illegal". That makes every page that links to google "illegal". Do you really think anyone cares?
I work for best buy and get stuff for 5% above best buy's cost...
iPod 10G Retail = $399 Cost + 5% = $365
so about 13% of the retail price goes to best buy, the rest to apple. 13% is pretty low considering a lot of stuff at best buy is marked up 60% or more from their cost. Anyone have any idea what apple's cost figures for an iPod are?
A lot of people have been saying this lately, there's even been an april fools joke about it. The fact is that it would probably take apple only a few months to port osx to x86. Why won't they? Look how osx runs on a mac...it's flawless, you don't need to worry about device drivers for the most part, the install process only asks you what languages you want. Apple wants the end users to realize that all the crap involved with computers isn't necessary, you should only have to plug it in to get it to do what you want.
Union companys' work on a contract that is agreed on at a specfied time interval. Management will not allow someone to do something like this an still be able to keep their job. That is not what unions are for. Thay are to ensure that you cannot be given an unfair salary for work that obviously deserves more credit.
