I threw together a GM Script to fix the width issue. I plan on expanding it and tweaking it a bit, assuming they ignore the feedback and don't address it on the Beta site. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/179020

You should still be able to sort by ratings. This link for example: http://www.netflix.com/WiAltGenre?fcld=true&agid=3979&vt=tl
You just have to replace the movies subdomain with www and append the fcld=ture to whatever page you're on.
Or, you can do what I did and set up auto-redirects for all of the pages using the new interface.
If you really want, you can replace http://movies.netflix.com/WiHome with http://www.netflix.com/WiHome?fcld=true to use the old interface. Note the www subdomain instead of movies and the ?fcld=true. I set up auto-redirects in Firefox so if I'm on the watch Instantly or Genre pages it will send me back to the old layout. From my end, you can't even tell that I'm being redirected or that the layout has been changed. Hopefully, they don't drop this and leave me stuck with the new UI.
Stop fucking around with the desktop. Realize that a LOT of users switch of Aero on windows and have the same desktop they had 10 or more years ago. It works. Some improvements are possible but for god sakes, make sure the old proven and working elements still work.
Yeah, my laptop is running Windows 7, but I've turned off Aero and switched to the classic "Windows 2000 look". With the classic theme, I get better battery life, responsiveness, and more screen estate.
Not all Bourbons are 40% ABV. That's just the minimum. Many are 50+%, but, most are 40-48%, but, TFA states it will run off any Bourbon, so your curiousness still remains.
From the site: "On your download page, you can optionally get a key to redeem Trine, Shadowgrounds, and Shadowgrounds: Survivor on Steam and Desura. You can also get a key to redeem Trine on OnLive. Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds: Survivor are only available on Windows Steam, but we hope to add them to Mac as well. "
Oh wait, you need a Twitter/Flickr account and need to have given them data about yourself? I guess I'll have to spread some seeds for it and check back later. I'll get right on that...
I suppose I'm an idiot. I buy all of my games through Steam. If Valve ever goes under or Steam is sold off to someone less accepting, I may very well be screwed. But, I average about 67% off on the games I buy, so I guess it's worth the risk.
I don't know if they're trying to state the annual income, assuming the sale trend continues, or they just fail at math. It seems too obvious a mistake to be the latter, but more blatant miscalculations have been made.
Personally, I enjoy the challenge in discovering and fixing the problem. Being asked to solve computer problems all of the time can be a hassle at times, but, it can be fun. I'm also the type of person that gets bored and re-installs the OS n a pc to have something to do. Maybe eventually, it'll take its tow and I won't get the same enjoyment out of it, but that hasn't happened yet...
It seems to me that voice recognition is not the most efficient way to interact with a computer, especially when the user interface is well designed. For complicated tasks, and for interacting with computers where you may not have a normal desk or terminal, perhaps. As far as voice-to-text, if the recognition is accurate, it can possibly increase productivity depending on the person and their typing skills. On another not, however, this is a way for paralyzed individuals to interact with computers without the use of traditional means.
However, using voice interaction in tandem with other means could be a more efficient route. Having a computer run commands in the background via voice commands while you interact with it in more traditional ways in the foreground.
So, say that my forwarding phone is dead/not around and I have a Google Voice number set up as my cell phone to text/call. How am I supposed to login to check my sms or email so I can get the code so I can log in to check my sms or email?
Does Insulting its intelligence (or lack thereof) count? I never curse at my computer, but I routinely lower its self-confidence with insulting remarks.
Just because one of the many apps built with KDE has been re-branded doesn't mean everything else will be. Re-branding an app can help them re-market and re-invet the image for KOffice and loosen the implied restriction of running only under KDE. Changing the name of KDE doesn't benefit them seeing as how Desktop environments aren't really marketed to end-users, and even in the Linux world, most either don't care or already have a preference.
I wonder how long until we have no way of distinguishing a bot from a person. existing CAPTCHAs don't work all that well, and I can't see future ones working much better for very long.
The Cylons are among us! Any one of us could be one!
They have more specific details about Kit-Kat on the Developer site. https://developer.android.com/about/versions/kitkat.html#44-hce
It should work with TamperMonkey on Chrome. There are a bunch of improvements that can be made to the script. This is just a starting point.

I'm guessing Key Lime Pie, unless they're saving generic Pie for P.

Yeah, I buy it out of principal and then for the games. Having them on steam is just icing on the cake.

If I had been drinking something, it'd currently be up my nose. I second that this is the best post ever.

Yay! Random IT Crowd Reference. The sad thing is it probably wouldn't take much to convince most end users of this.
Change, bad...grumble grumble grumble...

Because, the people releasing these hacks go to jail, while Sony breaks their own console trying to stop it from happening. ;)
Yeah, they're Cylons.
