OK, so the last time I was unemployed I had about 12 in person interviews before I finally got a job from the 13th. I was absolutely qualified for every position I applied for and went on to the second interview round more than a few times. But the logic of this article, there must have been something nefarious going on. It's plainly nonsense.
Also "recruited" cannot be used in this sense. If she was recruited 4 times, that means she got the job 4 times. Otherwise she was just contacted by a recruiter 4 times - which seems to be the case. I had to read the the headline multiple times to work out why it makes no sense and the actual article to figure out what the intended meaning was.
Now I own numerous Sony android devices, all of which were given the Lollipop treatment over the last few months. One doesn't want to charge fully and another now has extremely high battery use from "Android OS".
Honestly I wish Sony had waited just like LG until the updates are actually stable for basic functionality. Kudos to LG...
I know this is how language scholars in my country think as well, but it's idiotic. This approach is what warps language and creates misunderstandings, when you can no longer determine from spelling or pronounciation the etymology of a word. Artists also shouldn't adopt misheard lyrics as the correct way to perform their songs. Although that might be slightly interesting.
Picking the lowest common denominator is just plain sad when it comes to language.
"Isn't MSN and Skype supposed to be merged??"
Indeed, however, it was possible to keep using the MSN client, if you - like myself - loathed the Skype client for the buggy, cumbersome, un-intuitive piece of poo that it is. I'm not sure if the Skype and MSN infrastructure was merged, though, but since they're now announcing a shutdown I suppose it wasn't.
Mostly I just can't throw tech that works perfectly well away. So I end up with X graphics cards, processors, etc in closets everywhere and a ton of old IDE drives with "backups" on them.
Plus I actually own a stereo that doesn't stream from the network, isn't surround, doesn't have have any USB ports or anything else digital, simply because the amplifier is the first major purchase I ever made in my life and it (still after 20+ years) has completely unrivaled sound.
I guess printers should be on that list, too, since they see use like twice a year maybe and I could just print at work.
Nowhere does it say that Nokia cannot leverage it's patent portfolio and make a business out of that. The operative word in the Commission statement is "illegal". Being a patent-owning business (and nothing else) is not illegal, nor is licensing the property for considerable fees. Heck, suing for profit isn't either. So the actual value of this statement is minor.
I wish they wouldn't shut down iGoogle. I have been using this as my default browser page ever since it was introduced (I think), and I'm really happy with it. It lets me put everything I use most often and some handy newsfeeds that keep me informed during the work day all in one place. I really dont understand why they'd nix it, especially since it doesn't seem like it's a big ressource draw.
"The so called exploit was in fact an error on ArenaNet's side, leaving weapons at a low price from some vendors. Players saw this and started making profits buying and selling the items. Should players be penalized for errors committed by the game developers?"
That's the very definition of an exploit - you notice something odd that is probably not supposed to be this way, you realize you can get some sort of advantage out of it, and then you repeatedly go back for more. All exploits (almost anyway) are based on some error a developer made, so the seeming outrage of the submitter is in a word idiotic. The fact that this was an obvious error makes it even worse.
Truth is it's probably not worth it to file a suit, but if you can afford the fees and such and dont much care about the financial side of it, it's a good way to get peace of mind. If you dont want to be out of pocked, all you can do is take it as a life lesson and next time you get password reset emails, act on them. Personally I would take the "Half a month of hosting as a good faith gesture" as a slap in the face and give em hell for it.
My initial question would be what happens when a hurricane lands near a 2600 foot tower perched on a giant greenhouse? Somehow the mirrors (concentrators) and water/oil tank configuration of solar power seems like a more resilient structure, if only for the fact that the mirrors are smaller and closer to the ground and you dont need a massively tall tower.
Everyone loves wind power, as long as the mills aren't located anywhere near themselves. This is the story every time a project is planned. Besides it's not like you can't just dismantle a windmill, it's not like strip mining that leaves permanent scars. If the world is ever to get serious about leaving oil dependencies behind people are going to have to take the good with the bad.
Personally I love seeing windmills on our coastline and I feel good every time I look at them. They are a MUCH nicer view than the smokestack from a coal plant...
Easy, this is just the distributor being unreasonably worried - not the authorities actually requesting the game be pulled. Anyway hentai isn't even illegal in Denmark, so why should an upskirt shot of some animated broad be a problem?
By what criteria was Magicka an unqualified success? The game was so buggy at release it was basically unplayable for any length of time - for some it's still entirely unplayable. I think you'd have to set the bar too low to call that a success at all.
Outputting crappy graphics in higher res will make no difference whatsoever - it can't very well output what the game wasn't designed to do. Unless we're talking some nifty post processing stuff (high AA at least), but that seems doubtful.
I just thought it was amusing to post a headline with decline and fall both in the same sentence, when they are clearly the same thing in this instance. Should it actually have been "the rise and fall of..." or "the decline of..."?
Children need to learn right from wrong and good from bad. You don't do this by sealing them in a bubble of control. You do it by TEACHING them, and they have to have experiences in this arena too. What you are doing removes all responsibility from the child - how are they going to learn that concept?
Yes, you need to provide guidance and support, but spying is not it. Spying is exactly the short-sighted solution, what happens when you're not there to make their decisions for them and to "protect" them?
Just because you're told you're being watched, doesn't mean it doesn't violate your privacy. If the goverment decided we should have state controlled yet fully disclosed cameras in every home, you would think your privacy was being violated, right? Whether you tell your kids or not, you're still violating their right to privacy. Now whether you think they should be afforded that right in the first place, as I assume you don't from what you wrote, is another matter entirely.
I just happen to think all human beings are entitled to privacy, regardless of age.
'When it comes down to safety and welfare of your child, I don't think any parent would sacrifice anything to make sure nothing happens to their children,' he says."
First off, shouldn't that say that he DOES think that any parent would sacrifice anything blah blah? Second, the parents don't actually sacrifice anything themselves, what they do is violate their child's privacy, which doesn't affect themselves in any way.
Because the primary use of a phone is making calls and smartphones are bulky ugly things with terrible battery life. Honestly if I could find a good simple lightweight phone with long battery life I would buy it in an instant - but now I'm stuck with the SE X10 mini pro, which doesn't really have any of those things. I'm not inclined to walk about with a 4" screen in my pocket and I presume a lot of people feel like that.

iTunes is to music what crayons are to Picasso.

Over 50 and straight edged boy scout
So only pederasts, then?
That show hasn't been about science since around season 3, what has he been doing other than eating donuts in the catering truck? :)
What does that have to do with MSN, which has been free to use?

Send a reply to abuse@whomeveremailedyou.com Most domains still have some sort of mailbox for this.

Wouldn't that imply that the movie was supposed to be funny? Or have some other redeeming features that make up for the pile of fail that it is?
You can't just say you're not supposed to take it seriously when there is no other way to take it.
