They aren't being prevented from working, Uber can employ all the ex-cons they want. What they can't do is n advertise themselves as the safest drivers without even being aware of who it is they are employing.

Or if you walk through a laser tripwire it will set off an alarm. It interacts with actual hardware, actual code and all it requires is a squeeze, a drag-and-drop and a little imagination."
So that's how we will all be coding the complex software that controls our aircraft and nuclear power plants in the future.
"The reactor is going into meltdown"
"Quick, squeeze the teddy bear and imagine it not killing us all!"
If you now simply remove lines, this information is lost.
Having lived in Germany for some years, I can tell you that this often happens. Every time it rains at night and the road gets wet, the white lines turn black and almots disappear. I kid you not. It gets worse when there have been road repairs at some point, because the patching on the road looks just like the white lines now do.
Try the Murderous Maths series of paperbacks, available as a fairly cheap box set. They have a light-hearted presentation covering a variety of maths fields and actually go quite far into some of the more interesting/harder aspects. They're similar to the Horrible Histories series. My kids found that very interesting at a similar age.
Except the Japanese customer VPNing into US Netflix to watch House of Cards won't have Japanese dubbing or subtitles available or access to other Japanese shows on Hulu. If they then end up subscribing to both, then nobody loses.

Just replace the 1 cent coin was replaced with a 99 cent coin. Then it's worth as much as the metal and it replaces 99.99% of the need for having a 1 cent coin in the first place.;)
Never had shellfish? Oyster, mussels, shrimps,... If so, you're already eating guts. You've probably also eaten the skin on chicken wings or duck or fish. And if you've had jelly or gummy bears or anything else that uses gelatin, then you're already eating bone and hide and hooves.
From Wikipedia: "The Dagger Complex is a US military base in Darmstadt (Germany), close to Griesheim [about 20km south of Frankfurt am Main]. There's a Castle Frankenstein in Hesse, Germany. If you read the online reviews for it (e.g. TripAdvisor) , it's amazing how many people seem to think that it's the historical residence of a certain Dr. Frankenstein...
Reminds me of the old Japer Carrott joke about bad driving: "My mother in-law has been driving 40 years and never had an accident - but she's seen thousands..."
The statement says he had already acted aggressively even before the police were involved. Perhaps if he had just unplugged the phone the policed would never have been involved.
We were called to Camden Road London Overground station on Friday 10 July to a report of a man becoming aggressive when challenged by a PCSO about his use of a plug socket onboard an Overground train.
While arrest may have been an overreaction, the guy was using a socket clearly marked not for public use and then seems to have become aggressive when asked to unplug his phone. Maybe he needs to look at his own behaviour as well.
Alternatively, people have seen that Windows 10 is just as bad as Windows 8 and are hurrying to buy Windows 7 licenses as the only decent version of Windows with a reasonably long remaining support window...
I thought I'd look cool like Dick Tracy when using it, but instead I just looked like a dick.

I didn't even know there were official flatulence charts to allow you to assign types.

This is the reason that so many gym teachers have doctorates.

Not everybody was speeding, just those driving vehicles...

Imagine living in a first world country where a mass shooting might be so common that it's not considered newsworthy!
Since when has an acorn been a fruit?

Problem solved...
(Although having a harness hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom might be an issue...)
The great thing is also, that with Apple heavily backing it you don't have to worry if it's worth picking up
Didn't you say the same about Objective-C a few years ago? ;)
