What matters is, inanimate or not, guns seem to be doing a very good job of finding the people who will use them on innocent people. If guns weren't so good at it, there would be no need to limit them. Of course people blame the person who used the gun, but usually that person is dead so what good does that do?
You'd better spend a lot of that money on insurance and security then, because if you're living around a population of people with absolutely nothing you won't have your stuff for long.
Why would anyone buy a device that might refuse to play any damn sound file you point it at? As if I needed another reason not to buy one of these things.
Also, how long before people flock to the other unmentioned VPN services? Then by the time those get blocked there will be another set of new services yet.

Yeah the problem is my manager supports my side ventures but doesn't really know anything about what I'm doing. Also my problem is if I included all my hobbies and job riles, my one job would take up a two page resume on its own.
Let's use system admin as an example. Since this wasn't your main job role, I can't be assured that your manager can effectively confirm how proficient you are at it or how involved you were with it. You may have worked on it for 15 minutes and decided to put it in your resume and no one would be the wiser. Sure I could ask you detailed questions about it if I know what I'm doing but often hiring managers don't know the job they are hiring for that well.
I just never would have thought to bother listing side jobs. I've been developing for 10 years but I've never put it on my resume because there is really no one to confirm that I am effective at it.
I agree. It seems to use a soft brass section for the background of every song, and I had to listen a lot to hear anything that would lift it beyond 'ambient background music'.
