I see so many features that have been available in cars for years and not available in low end vehicles, I really wonder what could possibly trigger automakers to decide to put something as advanced in a low end vehicle. They had to be forced by law to put airbags and seat belts in, and those cost what, $10 per vehicle?
At 25%, self driving will come nowhere near to meeting all the lofty safety estimates being thrown about. Nor is it enough to offset expensive insurance costs so that people in self driving cars get affordable insurance. This is very sad news for self driving indeed. How long until we are at 95% because that is probably closer to the critical mass we need for self driving to actually work for common people.
You expect to see a self driving car that can navigate an unmapped dirt driveway reliably? In winter as well? You have a lot more faith in self driving than I do. I think you'll be parking at the side of the highway and walking in for at least the next 50 years.
That would be a natural extension of the algorithm. A better test would be to see if it can recognize its creator though a camera and decide to lose gracefully to them.
Or maybe we just have enough power to play Go now. Whether AlphaGo is AI or not, it is a totally different problem than something like driving a car and will likely lead to very little that is practical. AlphaGo is simply repeating the same calculation to greater lengths, the point being that everything inside that computation is well understood and therefore expected. The complicated and difficult part of driving a vehicle requires a computer be able to take a situation that it did not expect and make the right action from it based on everything else known about the world already.
To me it's clear that Trump became president in order to have tax payers pay for his family's lodging and vacations. He's making tons of money just by using his properties as president. I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Also we would have fare more socialist governments, because the logical choice is to give everyone what they need to live first and then worry about the rest after. Only when people become emotional over someone getting something they are perceived to not have deserved do we need to fall to an imperfect system like capitalism to decide everything.
The one my friend had was around the size of a half-height bread box and it was that Apple case beige plastic color if memory serves me correct. I always thought it was 1Mb but it could have been 5Mb.
I'm honestly not sure if I could get away with that. I know when I sleep 6.5 hours a night a feel crappy and when I sleep 8 hours I feel good. Also I imagine it depends a lot on what you do for that 1.5 hours. I imagine you need to do something fairly non stimulating.
I don't understand how someone could have a productive life and sleep the eight hours a night the average person is supposed to need. Maybe someone single, but impossible while you have work and family.
The average human needs 8 hours a night of sleep and it is proven to be particularly bad for us to wake up between 5:30am and 7:30am. This is what the average human needs as sure as they need water to drink. Does your place of business provide that for them?
On my Apple ][+ there were no loading progress bars for games on 5.25" floppies but you could usually tell where you were in the loading sequence by the pattern of grunting that the hard drive was making.
Then technically you can in place upgrade with any linux distro because if you know how to copy the files manually from a fresh install and change a few config files it is possible! Where to do you draw the line? If it is not supported then it is not possible.
If it's not an officially supported solution I'm not doing it thanks. What havoc would that cause? Maybe not to find out until a month down the road. I'm long past the part of my life where I have time for that kind of nonsense.
The most recent post I could find on the matter indicated that there was no supported upgrade method. If they introduced one for Loki to whatever was next I would jump right on it.
Read my post above. You don't know that. Some treatments are temporary and involve blocking the process for a bit so that it can reset itself. But, yeah, at $1000 a dose and without coverage, only the wealthy elite in America will be able to access the treatment whether it is temporary or not.
Because if they become unemployed then they must be lazy or something!

Uh.. Any more?
In game currency will allow children to start successful businesses!
The computer is better at go because of the number of moves it can plan though, not because it is more intelligent.

The apple floppy drives were pretty loud. Could hear them easily in a quiet room.

Lol, I meant floppy drive, but I did have a friend with that hard drive.

Some people can work with 6 hours. Apparently Elon Musk and Oprah Winfrey do. I sure can't.

I thought MacOS was secure because it is unix, and unix eats viruses somehow. And Apple loves you.

When you play a game like Jenga, do you say "I don't see how this tower could fall" every time you pull out a piece?
