"customer monopolies are a real thing as well" -- sorry for interrupting your diatribe but the word you looking for is monopsony, and yes someone has discovered it's a "real thing" way before you.... Ever read an economics book ?
Says who? You? All hale high priest drinky. Who do you think you are? The guy who made it thought his genes deserved it and so on and so forth. Send my best to Lenin and Stalin when you meet them in hell, komrade.
You do know there are other apps out there besides uber, competition works just fine. If you don't like Uber then don't use them, I have nothing against them but i prefer the other guys. If you don't have competition then there are other questions you should be asking.
Revolut and N26 are geting popularity here in Europe because of ungreedy exchange rates, low/no fees and nice phone apps. Waiting on them to open up investing via app since we don't have robinhood in europe.
I don't understand why you keep trying to drag the discussion towards something else, yes some people get some good inheritance/blue-eyes/full-hair good on them. They WERE NOT the focus (or mention) of my hard work argument. My neighbours finances does not concern me, *MY* finances concern me. It's like you are saying look the neighbor won the lottery therefore why do you work when you too can play the lottery or something....we were talking about the hard working people.
If you want to have good fortune in life (not Bill Gates level wealth but say above average) you should work hard and, get this, create your own opportunities. If you want to be a programmer go to silicon valley and it will increase your chances 10x. As I said in the beginning ofc there is an element of hazard, but if those who had it would not have been primed and ready for it when the moment came then it would have been wasted.
Instead I suspect *some* prefer to woe woe woe is me, and go take a snooz. Btw how many of those chinese millionaires are "inherited", wasn't China dirt poor like 40 yrs ago ?
I am very inclined to think that if you do more or less what I do then you will get more or less good results. I do not play the lottery or gamble btw. If by "most people work hard" you mean they dig ditches with spoons then that doesn't count as work.
you seem to read effort == hard work. In my language there is a difference. We were talking about the people that work for their success, why are you talking the ones with rich parents who had at some point some parent that worked hard ? Please stay on subject.
F you very much for these international "contracts"... how about other "contracts" such as british sovereignty in north america, slavery, Yalta, communism, the belgian Congo.... how about the "peace in our time"-accord with the 3rd reich ?
Perhaps if you have an actual point to make, you should state it.
I was too subtle, I appologise, the US got where it is by having a small state, non-state-interference, and generally personal accountability. THAT has lead to what US has. All these are counter to nanny state centralist etatist paternalist marxist fairy tale utopias.
into your historical fantasy.
Talk about historical fantasy? We will build a a new society, a new man! Long live the USSR/China/Poland/Checkoslovakia/Yugoslavia/Romania/Bulgaria/Germany/Venezuela/N.Korea/Cuba/Vietnam/whatever-the-f-you-want. 100 million dead, is that enough fantasy for ya? Still not real yet?
As I recall, Marx was actually the one who cared about who was running production.
Not sure what you mean by cared, but yes he did care just like a thief would care about the mark of a heist.
You are missing the first point but not by much, and the second by 20 kilometers.
The only solution at that point is a concerted (and very public) voting effort to remove the corrupt and negligent politicians from office.
AND how did *this* came to be... keep going step by step until you reach individual autonomy/responsability.
While there are certainly a lot of finite resources, their consumption is usually flexible, thanks to many processes that benefit from economies of scale.
This is classical maxist thinking, and is ENTIRELY clueless of how the economy works. It's not about the finite products, it's about WHO produces them. If your answer is not ROBOTS then we come back to THEFT.
This is what makes America a great country, where we expect corruption to be caught.
Correct, and how do you think this came to be ? And if you have it now, it doesn't mean it can't go poof.
In short, the left says "you have the opportunity to do anything except harm others", while the right says "you can do anything you can pay for". Frankly, for the sake of my descendants, I prefer the former.
Because you do Not comprehend the implications. The "opportunity to do anything" at others expense MEANS YOU ARE HURTING OTHERS because you are robbing them of their reasources. Your descendants would spit on your grave if they suffered what you would have inflicted on them.
That's not a valid option. You either believe nations should be organized in states, or multiple nations should live inside the same state, or no state at all.
So what's your answer friend ?
Me? I wasn't angry. But if you mistake a bit of sarcasm with anger then you might wee your pants when you finally see anger manifested, just sayin.

Those with the most to lose should pay the most for the maintenance of the system that protects what they have.
Bring on the private armies baby ! That would probably be cheaper than taxes. No ? You wouldn't like that ? Pay more, get more rights, no ?

Everyone thinks *his* traffic is the worst in the world...
"by the 24th century, nobody will care." -- bwhaha how naive can you be to consider such a thing.
Including waging war on other dark web sellers :)
Nobody forces you to immigrate to the US, whereas in China you can't opt out. See the difference ?
In their mind it does.... :)))) Also boogie men and creepy crawlers.

it has tabs on bottom

what's that? the big GESTAPO helping the little komrad /tavarisi Gestapo ? who would have thought ?
F you very much for these international "contracts" ... how about other "contracts" such as british sovereignty in north america, slavery, Yalta, communism, the belgian Congo .... how about the "peace in our time"-accord with the 3rd reich ?
God help the americans.
by good fortune you mean hard work? Ofc there is always an element of fortune but that is useless if no work has been done.
Only good bots that follow the THREE LAWS OF ROBOTICS are allowed.

How many nations inside the state, please answer in integers.
