Or maybe, American's speak "real english" because there's more people who speak American English than there are who speak any other type of English?

Or maybe, instead of inane nitpicking about "real english" we can just recognize it for what it is, a regional accent.

Besides, I think British English is more corrupt than American English, innit?

I never know if people are actually going to read my responses, but here it goes.

R&C has been fantastic! But it sounds like this is the last one. I haven't liked Resistance all that much and the genre is crowded (realistic FPS set in a semi-alien near future). Their schtick, with their being alien hives and also people being turned into aliens, is kind of cliche and lame. I feel Gears of War uses the same exact setting.

The guns have cool features in Resistance, but they aren't fun the way they are in R&C.

So, to reiterate my original post, I've loved all of Insomniac's games, but if Resistance is what their new games will be like, after R&C is done, that's too bad. :(

I hope they can figure out a good franchise with good features, after Ratchet and Clank. Resistance has been OK, but it's already in an overcrowded genre, with a pretty cliche shtick.

SuperKendall, why do you buy into this argument? I see it a lot on Slashdot, and everywhere else I go!

    It goes like this:
    "X is bad."
"Y is worse than X, X isn't bad at all."

The fallacy here is that somehow, you could be the 2nd worse and that isn't a bad thing at all! While it might be true that the UK doesn't make people disappear (yet) it is also true that the UK is creating very powerful policing tools, and that once they do start making people disappear, it will be all too late, as George Orwell has warned us.
