Well, it looks like your friend has learned the

first lesson of business: most customers are unreasonable. You can't expect them to care about your problems, e.g., keeping a roof over your head and keeping a wolf from the door. Fuming over the unreasonability of customers is a waste of time, and time is money. If you can't keep yourself from doing this, you should consider the first question, above, because you aren't cut out for business.

    God damn wolves.

It's not gonna be so bad. The depth of human knowledge is not decreasing. It is increasing. Who's to say that each generation becomes stupider anyhow? Each generation is different, but, certainly not stupider. In fact, with the internet, people are probably much smarter than they would be without it.

Well, this art definitely isn't worth much. It would be worth our time if it was interesting to look at or fun to listen to. I think that's the real hard part about this. If it were so easy to make something truly magnificient (that takes raw crap and makes something beautiful), then, maybe some of these people would get into galleries. I agree. Nuclear is a safe way to go, but, is still causes lot of pollution. First, Uranium has to be mined out of the ground in open-pit mines. This destroys the landscape and has a lot of waste (i.e. dirt) It's also very energy intensive to turn Uranium into something that can be put into a power plant.
