Exactly! All it does it take naturally talented people who could be doing something important and significant and turn them to doing something as boring as making money. Who needs space exploration and cancer research when you can get rich off making an Uber for dogsitting or the Nth Pandora clone.
I thought the Windows Phone had the best phone OS around. It was perfectly reliable and useful, and had a better interface than Android or iOS and better performance. The problem was just the apps weren't there.
That's the story in the U.S. Actually, McDonald's seems to be more popular in other countries than here, where it is the worst of the fast food options.
Yep. I've been using Linux off and on for 20 years and these days I hardly even touch it, not just for the points you manage but also because the one thing Linux distros had over Windows was performance, and that's evaporated. Even the allegedly small footprint distributions are slower on every computer I've tried them on than Windows 10.
Aesthetics is a legitimate thing to have a preference on; I mean, let's be honest, that's the reason behind like 80% of Apple purchases. And obviously there are other features I like better about Android, particularly native filesystem access without having to install a kludgy app, and its integration with Google services.
I used to switch between iPhones and android every time I switched phones, and it had zero to do with specific models. I just got annoyed enough at whatever mobile OS I was using to switch. Now I'm sticking with Android. Both OSes annoy me, but at least with Android I can avoid the obnoxious Apple aesthetic.
That bloggger didn't remember well enough. He (and you) are missing intermediate posts about it that are linked in the Year of the Lie of 2013 post -- so there's no excuse for him missing it.
Now, close to a year later, we finally have detailed bills to examine. They closely mirror what Obama promised during the campaign.
But the plans also introduce new ways of regulating health insurance companies that will surely change the current health care system. That could prompt employers to change their health plans, and we find Obama's statement less clear-cut now than it once seemed.(emphasis mine)
So apparently Don Surber was a lot less honest than Politifact. That's why I never believe right-wing online nuts "fact-checking" because they always -- ALWAYS -- either intentionally or unintentionally omit something important or misinterpret what is said.
First, "honesty" is something you want in a President, but it isn't the only quality. Secondly, in this election the 3rd party candidates are terrible. Gary Johnson just seems almost as unknowledgeable as Trump, as does Jill Stein. I considered third-party candidates -- and rejected them. I think a lot of people are the same.
"There are at least a dozen current or former members of the domestic intelligence community who have died of "natural causes" or "accident" in the past three months."
You mean of a community made up of what is probably -- when you add together CIA, NSA, military intelligence and contractors -- tens of thousands of people, many of them old, "at least a dozen" have died in the past three months?
"Manhattan real estate has been among the most expensive in the nation for a century. A million in Manhattan even in the 70s was not like a million anywhere else."
A million in Manhattan in the 70's would go VERY far. Adjusting for inflation it would be over 4 million now, and the prices were much, MUCH lower then (EVEN accounting for inflation). Additionally, Trump was made president of his father's real estate company, which was worth hundreds of million dollars then (and would be worth over a billion now).
"The woman is such a parasite that she even enriched herself on the "charitable" funds that were supposed to re-build Haiti after an earthquake."
Total lie. Right-wing nutjob websites made that up, and you fell for it.
I AM an attorney, who has actually done some work in terrorism-related law. The President was fully within his rights to release the funds under the law, and did so in order to effect foreign policy. He could have held the money frozen further, but he did not have the authority to just steal it, like you have argued. Your argument that he could have just taken the money and used it for America's own good is blatantly wrong.
"A million bucks would buy lots of real-estate in middle America, but for a dice-roll in Manhattan? Your DNC talking point only works on the stupid."
Like people stupid enough to think that Donald Trump's $1 million loan back in the 1970's would be like a million dollar loan in 2016? People stupid enough to not understand what 40 years of inflation and forever increasing real estate prices mean?
"Sanctions approved by the US Congress and Senate which President Obama lifted without Congressional approval"
You are fundamentally ignorant of U.S. law. The Iran Sanctions Act allows the President to lift sanctions on his own authority. The U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act is irrelevant here. Wikipedia is not an education, especially when you do not understand the wikipedia articles you read.
Virtually everything you hear from the media in the US is contrived to manipulate Hillary into office.
Idiotic. The media has been attacking Hillary for 30 years; they hate her. They hate Trump more, now, but they have always hated Hillary. Look at all the false scandals, misleading headlines, etc. etc..
I have studied Philosophy, Rhetoric, Logic, and the necessary History, Psychology, Math, etc.. to make sense of the world.
Then why are your critical reasoning skills so poor?
I can spot the crap from miles away
No, you can't. You are easily tricked and manipulated by idiotic conspiracy theories.

I was using Linux Mint; it was just so sluggish.
I thought the Windows Phone had the best phone OS around. It was perfectly reliable and useful, and had a better interface than Android or iOS and better performance. The problem was just the apps weren't there.
It's not 1995; most people are perfectly aware of the existence of OSX and Android and use them both frequently.
That's the story in the U.S. Actually, McDonald's seems to be more popular in other countries than here, where it is the worst of the fast food options.

Yes, this. That was phrased very carefully.

That makes no sense. I gave something Assange did. Are you saying backing down from Russia is anything other than fear?

That, sir, is a lie, and you are a liar.

Oh, as for this:
: Donald Trump has been an imperfect but productive human being with a track record of getting things done, on-time and on-budget,
Trump is LEGENDARY for his bungled deals and failed real estate projects, as well as for screwing over business partners.

Nope. Not even close to the most accurate.

False. The polls were very close, up to the end.

Oh lordy, Stein swiftboated Stein.
" Wikileaks my occasionally provide some commentary, but that is not the service they want and not the service they claim to provide."
Assange never stops commenting on what he is releasing.
