    The US can always withdraw from the ITU, but if these policies genuinely reflect the interests and will of other nation-states, and they remain united, I don't see how the US gets out from under them.

    If they claim to be about free speech why didn't they just remove the content, why did they terminate accounts (which on YouTube means you are forever banned and it is a violation of their terms of service to EVER in your life to create another account!)?

    The difference is like between censoring an article from the newspaper, and blowing up the newspaper office!

    Google's handing of YouTube is scary.

    The bans for 3 allegations of copyright infringement, which is NOT required by the DMCA, which says you have to terminate infringers, not those merely accused, now if a court say it was infringement that is different, but get 3 takedowns and you are banned are also scary.

    Now you have the option to watch their propaganda, take a test and if you give the politically correct answers you can ask to be allowed back on.

    At least if a search result on Google is blocked, they link to the order blocking it, and don't ban that person from ever having a web page in Google again or even ban the site! (which they do for black hat SEO).

    All I can say is that Lenovo is not IBM when it comes to Laptop build quality and leave it at that.

    My GIGABYTE board was losing access to the NIC due to power saving also.

    I told Linux to not power down the NIC (which would also preclude wake on LAN obviously) and the problem was solved. I didn't need to turn off all powersaving just that.

    The whole PC uses under 30 watts when idle!

    Intel P3 will lock up and after your power off and replace the heat sink, it will work fine.

    Intel P4 and newer will throttle down, and speed back up when cooled off.

    AMD will burn!

    I've got a desktop which runs in the 30's for wattage while doing low CPU consuming tasks like browsing, and never reaches 70 even at full load, and gets down to the high 20's when completely idle.
