    I'm older than dirt and I am fully aware of what the Chromebooks can and cannot do. For me it was the perfect fit for a kitchen laptop for online radio, spotify, youtube and recipe browsing. $199 and easy enough for my kids to use.

    My FF has the same problem and so does Chrome, it (flash video w sound) works in Arora and Epiphany but those browsers don't have as many extensions and plugins. Just started playing with Opera 10.10 today and that is getting sluggish and memory hoggish too if I leave it running for a few hours.

    for the few people I dial internationally fairly frequently I added them as GV - Bob for example then put the number as my GV number followed by a p for pause then my pin and another p then 2, then another p then the number and pound sign.

    and dirt cheap international calls from my cellphone, much better call quality than skype for windows mobile

    I haven't found anything else and would be interested in what you find. I have dd-wrt on mine (WRT54GS v5) in repeater bridge mode and it's hit and miss. Works some days, others not, but it might be the fault of my AT&T supplied not so configurable main router.

    Most people don't have a say in which health insurance company they shell out cash to, and all the co-pays, percentages of coverage depending on procedure, and in and out of network BS makes me long for govt control.

    My health insurance company randomly won't pay medical bills hoping that I'll pay them without paying attention. Not sure who I hate more insurance companies or rebate processors. That should be a poll.

    Pretty sure they speak English or at least Inglish in their offices, but you couldn't get a visa anyway. Anyhow, how is this different than the industrial revolution, or when computer automation started replacing monotonous jobs?
