a long time ago a monk by the name of Gregor Mendel did genetic experiments on wheat
avoid wheat
on a serious note yes things need to be tested and very strict oversight but seriously don't complain about the science but the outreach and education...
google can quite easily make reference but until there is High quality encoders then its pretty pointless
making decoder plugins for IE and mac is actually pretty easy in comparison
hardware reference designes need to be seeded also to the likes of TI and STMicroelectronics before it will even start to be useful after all where do all the camera's now do mp4 come from...
they where intent on billing people for effects that essentially you could do in imagemagick
but what mattered was the ability to do things in a flash platform wake up yahoo and build something nice... add to flickr what people really liked was the sprinkling of dew... have a sense of humor and it gets you a lot
there are lots of online photoshop tools but the easyest way to tell if they are serious is to find if they have a image clone tool...
odd but true
they where insistent on billing people I will be interested if google wants this to continue
you have to have bandwidth and frankly the links in and out of china are pretty bad....
I wonder if google.com.hk has these problems or if the crawlers had problems... after all the dns results do not match for all resolvers and sometimes results in tw rather than USA
I am actually in favour of not capitulating and doing what google shareholders would like....
most Set Top Box manufacturers actually use linux so I would choose one that can be controlled via firewire unless your going to get a TiVO see http://tivohme.sourceforge.net/
again MythTV depends on the hardware that you use so I would say get some better supported hardware or buy something that they have done the integration for you
google maps look pretty but they are not that fast compared to yahoo flash (.flv) maps for certain things
and frankly their fire eagle stuff blows the socks off the rest
BUT this feels much like the http://www.geonames.org/ and frabkly I prefer to use geonames I would have thought it would be much better that yahoo actually did something like this allowed people to download the data and provided a web service...
I prefer geonames because its open and well frankly works
it might be solving a differant problem but really this article does not point that out to me
the only argument I can see is publications and twitter
publications - there is no way that I am going to be able to example.com/typeskjd583 better than a URL this has been tried and frankly failed
twitter char limit - well actually twitter should solve this by offering their own service and key into what people are looking at thus having that knowledge inside twitter and being able to monitize it...
apart from those two reasons (which are false for I belive the reasons above) what other reasons are there ?
when do the patents on IRIS recognition run out ?
I think its soon...
or now...

they have been listening to you all for a while
this is a good thing when heart rate monitors and power (electricity) monitors can communicate via bluetooth
but they need a profile (standard way) of exporting this information i.e. ticks
does anyone know how the "smart" power monitors can communicate and dump information ?

exactly what is forced cross breeding for a specific purpose if not genetic engineering... the problem is that the rational people dont stick around
A/ engineering produces a result...
B/ your complaining about a patent system....
not a shill just being honest
dear scared american

that would be nice
lots of blogs are infact reviews or opinions on things it would be nice to actually mark that up in a review format...
publishing and sorting more things into taxonomies would be nice
I have high hopes...

its all about the encoders !
google can quite easily make reference but until there is High quality encoders then its pretty pointless

I really do feel sorry for him the interview really is terrible
why cant people do interviews...

so are you saying that the ISP is filtering the packets ?
can you tell what equipment they are using ?
personally I wish ISP's would just send out routers that where IPv6 compliant (are you listening British Telecom...)

I think Gmail is a great service for personal accounts...
but for business sorry you need to pay a real live person or support company who will actually be able to deal with your data
how do you get the data out of gmail to switch providers ?
ever serviced a discovery litigation from google ?
(you know where they judge you guilty of you dont come up with the data)
sorry but there is a good reason to keep this stuff on site and working...

SVG tiny is a great thing for the whole of the web to actually support !
it enables mobile web browsers to show content regardless of the screen size and thats a GOOD THING
firefox just needs to support SVG tiny...

do they provide sourcecode ?
(really interested if they do )
virtualbox is pretty nifty but inside a JVM is pretty impressive from a engineering point of view
have they published any work on this ?

right actually what they should be doing is providing unsubscribe ability in the email
the main providers should send is a DSN and it should be formated to rfc3464
they should take care to ALL allow list header specification. List-Unsubscribe to show in the headers
if marketeers dont allow unsubscribe in their header they should be blocked
HARD
this would allow the main providers to add a button to unsubscribe from the list
(rather than the current situation where people just junk the mail)
and it would allow the providers to identify what email came from a list....
that would be nice....

sorry I dont understand
where is the list of websites who have opt'd out of webwise ?
and since webwise is not active at the moment what good will this do ?

ok I actualy really like yahoo maps...
google maps look pretty but they are not that fast compared to yahoo flash (.flv) maps for certain things
and frankly their fire eagle stuff blows the socks off the rest

what exactly is the point in URL shortening ?
the only argument I can see is publications and twitter
publications - there is no way that I am going to be able to example.com/typeskjd583 better than a URL this has been tried and frankly failed
twitter char limit - well actually twitter should solve this by offering their own service and key into what people are looking at thus having that knowledge inside twitter and being able to monitize it...
apart from those two reasons (which are false for I belive the reasons above) what other reasons are there ?
URL's are good because they are Uniform....

first person I would suspect is the ISP or your webmail
without knowing any details of even the country your in it's kind of hard to guess...
but ISP's use deep packet inspection and even easier I am guessing you fill in your email address for their webmail and they bill you...

I thought that openfire was a jabber server so when the article states
"XMPP is also quite stable, at least for my purposes."
I get really worried about how much the author actually knows about the server...
realistically I would like to see some mobile jabber clients for things like blackberry
if anyone knows a free beer version of a jabber client for blackberry let me know
(I am not interested in webapp's since I like my privacy)
