AT MSI they had a person port the code from Windows to Mac, and came out with crap that was thrown away. If done correctly, it could have been the core of the new generation and been used as core of the NLM transport module. If they did this when they ported it from DOS to Windows, the port to Mac would have been much easier. The code had comments like, "I know this is not the right way to do this, but I will fix it later, because Dick wants it now." and I saw that comment 3 years after that programmer left.
