It's complete garbage excuse. It's not like somebody reads sit on Slashdot and gets an idea to apply a patch. There are bulletins like this https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/b... that you compare with your inventory. When you find something you open a ticket.... there are probably ways automate this. (I am not a cyber guy)
Expense and problems dealing with existing infrastructure and approvals are going to be a tiny fraction of what they would be in LA. When the bugs are worked out in Midwest then tackle the more complex project.
more influential than a PC, games console or any other device we use yeah and in each case as they became commodities their price went down. Whatever tidal force Apple is floating on will NOT last for ever.
I agree totally. When I hear people complain at work my retort is 'if it was simple we wouldn't have a job'. That being said, actually writing code is still the easy part.
When you are talking about large tracts of land there are plenty of legitimate non-dildastic uses for drones. I doubt someone flying an 80k machine is a drone enthusiast.
I can't believe nobody has brought this up but every call must be monitored by someone with experience in decoding illegal activity during a conversation. The cost is not small.
That's why a corvette owner pays more for liability than if they drive a Camry. Insurance companies and actuaries are a lot brighter than you think....
I just received a 1 inch rubber grommet in the mail in a foot long ups express shipping box + bubble wrap bag. Very expensive and wasteful. I have been avoiding Amazon because I refuse to use prime and their shipping is really expensive. Often you can see the retailer selling same item on Ebay with free shipping.
It takes time to analyze the data properly and write a decent paper about the findings. There are probably a string of observations in the last run but this one was the most interesting because of the Virgo detector being online.

Sucks that you don't do configuration management.

1000 people on a rocket? Right! I want some of whatever you are smoking....
You are pushing hundreds of tons of oxidizer into space. There is no way around this and this type of flight will never compete with a airplane
The BFR hold 240 tons of methane and 860 tons of oxygen. A 747 uses 10 tons of fuel and hour and carries 524 passengers. You can do your own math.
The point stands though that this is incredibly wasteful

Lifespan year> awake years. Opportunities like seeing the next president or your great-grandchildren.
Maybe you should familiarize yourself with the Army Clause of the Constitution...
That's baloney they had a team reprogramming the machine between matches.
