umm....what he said is true.....try compressing a.wav file or a.mp3 file versus compressing a.txt or a.doc file.............one is going to compress by about 50% while the other....by maybe 5% if u are lucky......i would guess same thing with RAM......the "compressor" will not be able to compress all of the data.
I dont' buy anything "made in china" because I know it will break in a couple of months......I think China is one of the few countries that produces more inferior products than US of A. I'd rather pay 30 more dollars for my DVD/CD player that is "made in japan" and have it last several years...then having to buy a new one every year that is "made in china/usa." Cheap labor=cheap products

Why not put the DeCCS code (whatever u want) behind one of these sites.....talk to a lawyer....they'll be able to come up with something.....now will this work or not?
I doubt an anti gravity device will be available within our times...but I think something that will reduce the pull of gravity (and I don't mean jet thrusters) will be available within the next 30-50 years. But who cares about anti gravity...when all we really need is a warp engine. But then we come to the question off...if we send people to other planets....what are we gonna do about the fact that they need gravity in the spaceship? Going along the same lines......this is old news....It's possible to take any DVD player...hook it up to ur TV and then take a VCR and hook it up to your TV's out jacks...and there u have it...u can watch and record the movie at the same time..very easy to do..I don't see why DeCCS what such a big issue also....just like jeff said up there.....take a video card for ur PC and loop that back to your TV or VCR and record the movie...no big deal whatsoever..I bought a DVD player for my PC and a decoder card..and since I have my Tv in my room I just connect the two and watch the movie from my PC.......as far as I can tell a DVD player and a PC DVD player...same difference.
