While consumers could care less, businesses will adapt anything that improves productivity while conforming to security's infrastructure.

What's at stake is the right of a corp to patent a hybrid seed and then force farmers that purposely or inadvertently have copies of that material to settle lawsuits by the patent holder. 99% of farmers are obliterated by lawsuits claiming $100 million in damages. And meanwhile, these seeds are about as healthy as dioxin.
A trading firm that never actually trades, with non-existent competitors, trading a currency that doesn't exist, has gone out of business due to massive losses!
