  1. The first sentence is wrong on Testing a Pre-Release, Parallel Firefox · · Score: 5, Interesting

On so many levels !! first of all - The title of the Electrolysis page clearly mentions using multiple processes - where the heck did anyone mention multi-threading? Secondly - multi-threading is not the same as running on different processors. You can potentially split a program into user level threads just to simplify code. Third - firefox already supports multi-threading. The only problem is that threads are still connected to the same PID and killing that in windows/linux/mac will kill all threads along with it. The original article states they are starting from a chromium base. That may be the reason for speedup in Java scripts test ?

Fire exits ? These are pretty interesting things to look at I am interested in finding out how the architects in Dubai dealt with those issues.

The more you network, the more they make money out of it. Its like the stock market, they dont like money at one place. It needs to keep rolling. The trick to maintaining social networking websites is how little privacy can you maintain while keeping the website relatively safe and secure for users and increase opportunities for people to network. And they can do this only by exposing as much information about people as possible.

There is also something more to than just weak infrastructure and that is weak implementation. This may be due to inexperience, corruption, ignorance, etc. I would imagine in developing nations/developed nations, once a project is started, they use the best tech, knowledge from previous projects etc to the fullest degree coupled with the fact that such nations are also less likely to be corrupt, the project itself proceeds faster and ends faster resulting in lower costs that can be pushed to the customer. On the other side, in India for example when they started to build the indigenous aircraft, they missed their deadline by 5 years, its still not done ( supposed to be done by 2004 I think) and overshot their budget by a few billion dollars. Its just an example of how projects are handled differently in different nations. Such inefficient execution can also increase the price of the end product.

Its funny that Intel simply creates an INF file and uses those to detect apps and optimize for performance. I mean, if you are detecting a file name and enabling performance optimizations, why not detect the app behaviour itself and make the optimizations generic ? Clearly you know the app behaviour and you know the performance optimizations work. This seem to me a case where people were asked to ship it out fast and instead of taking the time to plug the optimization into the tool, they just made it a hack. A really bad one too!!!

Coming back to your case, in my opinion, you should 1) Get away from this guy, he is dishonest. When you go to another place, make sure you tell them that you would not like your resume altered to the point that it is incorrect/dishonest. 2) There are professional resume makers out there. Some of them are very expensive, some are reasonable. Maybe you could use their services to improve your resume and try to look for jobs yourself. There are a number of websites out there that collate job openings from other websites , this way you can see a lot of openings on one site.
