...since I was eligible to vote. I was discussing the current state of political affairs with my mother this weekend and told her that I would be voting on Tuesday, but for the first time in my life I felt as though my vote wont make a difference at all. In my state (Maryland), if I vote for the Democratic candidates it's the status quo. If i vote for the Republican candidates it's the equivalent of thumbing my nose at the Democrats. If I vote for the third party (Libertarian) candidate it's just pulling votes away from one of the two candidates who will end up winning. If I write in a candidate, I'm throwing my vote away.
I can confirm that years of inbreeding has created a "Won't someone think of the children!" utopia on the Eastern Shore. These are the same folks who advocate secession due to differing political views.
I wanted to get something that my daughter and I could use to view the moon with but didn't want to spend a large amount of money in the event that she was not interested. I also wanted something that was easy to set up and portable (we live in the suburbs between two major cities, so to get a decent dark sky we need to drive a couple of hours). After doing some research I decided to go with the Celestron SkyMaster 15x70.
These have several advantages:
- They're very portable and compact
- They can be mounted on a tripod
- They can be used for non-astronomical viewing
- It's only a $60 investment
Ultimately for us, it was the best of both worlds.
Interestingly enough, the Swiss voted against creating a ~$25 (Ã18) minimum wage. Their reasoning? It's not enough. From the article:
While there is no formal minimum wage, median income in Switzerland is $37 an hour and 90 percent of Swiss make more than the proposed minimum wage. Switzerland has a 3.2 percent unemployment rate, the second lowest in Europe behind Liechtenstein.
I agree with your sentiment, but I believe your choice in books is small potatoes compared to the likes of the bible, the torah, and the quran. These three books and,the people who use them have killed more humans than all other books combined.
Is a green Private an official representative of the US Army?
Is the guy working the cash register an official representative of McDonalds?
Just because someone is a representative of an organization does not mean that individual is in a position to make policy decisions for said organization. The customer service rep in this case was wrong and should be corrected and (if required) disciplined, but to report it as news/fact without first seeking official comment from the appropriate individuals is irresponsible.
If this is the case, why is it that the container of Mortons Sea Salt I have in my cabinet state that it "does not contain iodine (a necessary part of a healthy diet)" or words to that effect?
Prevent the phone from transmitting and receiving signals inside the theater and put a disclaimer on the ticket. Anyone who doesn't like it is free to not buy a ticket. If you feel such a great need to send or recieve calls or texts, you simply need to step outside to the concession area to do so.
The second part of the poll indicates that at least 50% of my fellow countrymen surveyed in the first poll are brain dead morons (with a margin of error of +4%).
From what I've read (can't find the link to the article I saw this morning) it will be tied to the Amazon Prime program as an "exclusive" feature. If you are a Prime member and have a Kindle, you will be able to "check out" these titles at no cost, just like a public library.

I feel very sad about this. It really is a shame.

Seems like we could learn something.
They deal with pleasing the side with the most cash these days, not legality.
FTFY

It's only a matter of time before we collapse.
you'd be lying on your side too!

To many people were using bots to hold their place in line.

that their prices will go even higher? I don't understand why people think Bose is high end. I get better sound out of iHome speakers.

How long before the nude pictures and/or sex video are available in a torrent?
how the Israelis would feel if someone created a Twitter account along the lines of "@Treblinka1942" and ran a play by play of the daily events there?
if this issue will also affect my FIOS Quantum speeds?
Since Fox News Channel is a "no spin zone", they leave out the things that would make the story unfair or unbalanced. Just sayin.
Just like you, sir, are free to think that succession and secession mean the same thing.
first stop: my local liquor store.
If thats the case then she'd be better off singing Lucia Di Lammermoor.

I'll gladly pay you Pi day for a hamburger Tau day.
SRWare Iron has become my browser of choice. Essentially, Chrome with all the tracking crap ripped out.
Stephen King is probably rolling in his grave.
