this is a little off topic but why cant have publicly (as in you me and our neighbors) built networks. Like where everyone spends eight hours a week laying fibre where it needs to go so we dont have to wait for all those bandwidth nazis, who wont be running fibre directly into my house for a while. Hell I would be willing to use my entire vacation for the chance to get fibre into my house. Am I just crazy or does this sound like a good idea to any one else
more like a shank to kill off all the mom and pop computer stores with windows did this and windows did that give me money or ill sue you, i personaly have never had much problems with computer hardware and waht problems i did have there manufacturer warranty took care of, so i dont see much need for such legislation
every thing on the ineternet is already free i am willing to wade through some pop ups to get free stuff the thought of having to pay even a penny for an mp3 is sickening to me, i would rather not have the internet if we had to pay for stuff

how much does a radio station pay metallica (or any artist for that matter) every time they release a single, what im geting at here is why not think of mp3s as radio, because on napster its hard to find sigles that aren't released to radio

ok i agree with the person who said that there is no way to get it to that price becuase of the features costs but if they were fall down to the same features as say the ps2 then they might get it to 149 grammar is over rated
i think if a company or athelete or whatever wasnt far thinking enough to reserve the domain name they wanted while it was availible they deserve to be screwed by socalled cybersquatters either that or take the 30 seconds to think up a simalar name and use it. if people and companys didnt start paying so much for taken domains they wanted this would never be a problem, for example say back in the day i got buy.com before anyone else and just sat on it waiting for some company dumb enough to pay me for it, but instead they just get buystuff.com or buycrap.com or buyanything.com. then all they have to do is wait for me to stop renewing it and they would win because unless the socalled squatter is making money with the site it is really worthless.
