    Analogy straining aside.
    This is the equivalent of wanting access and ownership everything the guy has/owns.
    how do you know they don't have remote wipe ability ? It's about the data in the phone

    they already have physical ownership of the phone and could factory reset it if need be or replace the disk.
    They want the data in the phone which isn't "owned" by the department.

    Right also word isn't free and it's as silly to credit MS as to credit Toyota for making the car that you drove to work . Crediting the guy that gave you a lift everyday and saved you an hour commute is reasonable and a better analogy

    hmm sounds like spreading rumors. people are entitled to their thoughts and beliefs you know, even if you don't agree with them or dislike them.

    I don't understand what you mean, if you gave me 10k in $100 bills I am 100% sure I can spend them or replace most of them without anyone the wiser, not illegally or anything it's paper it's accepted by millions of bushinesses. Who is forensic accounting the country when 3/4 of the business are trying to hide their income , right !
