As someone might know, the world (give or take a few) uses MSIE and MSIE does not allow the user to scale a stylesheet fontsize if that size has been specified as ABSOLUTE - too many hack sites are designed this way.
My first thought was "I hope they are going to use Ogg Theora for this." Then in the article text it said that they have been "developed... using video-compression technologies licensed by On2 Technologies". Folks, Ogg Theora is based on the On2 compression technologies!

Quibble: the introduction of Americanism following 9/11 was an unfortunate downturn in the series, possibly motivated by the absurdly Americanized competing series, SG1. SG1 is so "go USA" I can't even watch it. Patriotism and sci-fi are just a terrible mix.
Well since you are not watching it, you aren't qualified to comment. Sg1 is not so bad (perhaps because most of the crew are canadians) - sure its for american audiences and apparently you have to protray them as gods, but there is a constant undercurrent of "yeah right":)
Your right that is a terrible analogy. My mom laid out a pack in front of me at 10... I smoked five of them... got nice and sick. Now at 33 I smoke 5 a day (after going through my stint of 15 years of a half a pack to two packs a day).
