  1. To play devil's advocate: At the moment he is a climate change denier largely due to lack of cohesive education on the topic. When he asked for someone experienced with first hand knowledge of the annual global climate talks to tell him more, the people who believe in it refused to give him any names.

    I can see an argument for being able to adjust the temperature of my house before I get home on the rare occasion I'm getting home at an unusual time. I wouldn't get a connected thermostat just for that though.

  3. I find that no worse than the minimum wage advocates that pay less than they are advocating for. If he alone changes his hiring and business practices it will just hurt his business to the point where it's a net negative. If his competitors are also forced to make the same changes, they won't get an advantage over him and America will be better off for it.

    You left out the ability to ignore labor laws for H1Bs as they'll get deported if they lose their jobs.

  6. She was "extremely careless" with classified information. Coney recommended no charges because there was no intent, which is not required under the law. She also deleted emails after they were subpoenaed for a criminal investigation.

    More likely some country that never started using coal power and thus never sees the need to ban it.

  17. Two other statistics of interest would be the percent of people that aren't employed, as opposed to the percent that have filed for unemployment, and the percent working part time, which skyrocketed due to Obamacare.

    It's possible that they could limp home normally, but are unable to do the relatively fine maneuvering needed to navigate the canal.

    He may be corrupt, but he's inexperienced as a politician, making it more difficult for him to exercise his corruption.
