    If the only people wanting to go into the bathroom were post-op trans women you'd have a point. When anyone can go into the women's restroom or locker room by claiming to be trans, or, in some arguments, without even claiming that they're trans, that can lead to problems.

    FYI if the president doesn't sign or veto it for ten days it becomes law without his signature.

  6. Only if you're found unfit to stand trial, if you're tried and found not guilty by reason of insanity, you won't have to answer to the charges if you ever get out of wherever they send you.

    I like the German practice of capitalizing all nouns, can we adopt it as the standard instead of this movement away from capitalizing proper nouns?

    It's also a problem for us as newspapers are usually the ones responsible for investigations into local affairs.

    You're more likely to misplace something that you use frequently like a cell phone. On the other hand, you're also more likely to notice it's missing.

    It probably wasn't about making a game to make money or the like. They probably liked the old game and wanted to play it with a modern engine.

    Rather than have no new laws, you could have an automatic veto for all new laws, which is the most that the president could do if there was one. This would mean a 2/3 majority required for all new laws.

    Risky is anything that causes insurance to have to pay out.

  22. A large portion of what we pay for insurance goes towards the mandatory liability insurance. I would expect that the owner of the car will still have to pay this portion regardless.

    One of the rules of Go is that you can't repeat an earlier board position, meaning cycles are not allowed.
