If you want to be fair, then all the parents of the public schools should have to pay tuition to the Charter/Private schools since the parents of those students continue to pay property taxes for the public schools.
And did you ever notice that the biggest cheerleaders for Public schools usually have their children in private schools? Sidwell Friends, anybody? Even many pubic school teachers send their kids to private schools.
It makes the rhetoric about taking care of the poor and underprivileged emanating from these geographic areas ring especially hollow.
The whole area is a hot mess of progressive policies and political correctness. Yet, when it comes to money, all else falls away to what's best for the bottom line.
I have had 5 kidney stone episodes in the last 30 years. The first one is scary because you have no idea what is happening. The rest are routine, more or less.
Urine sample to check for blood and a simple x-ray ( CT Scan? Really?) and they send you home with Vicodin and tell you to drink lots of water. Hell, he could have gotten the RX and continued the cruise if he wanted.
That sure is something actual climate scientists have said
Not so fast there. You have to admit that the AGW camp is comprised on many different people. And many of those people are in positions that are influential...media, entertainment, etc. These non-scientists regularly equate weather events with AGW. They do so forcefully and very publicly with widespread exposure. All I've ever heard from the scientists are tepid and hard to find statements that, "no, you really can't say that".
Highly prominent scientists in AGW research have moved from science into advocacy of specific public policy. In doing that they have taken the debate out of the scientific realm and placed it into the public realm, where everyone has the right to express an opinion and where the science is merely one component of the debate.
So you cannot dismiss accusations that the AGW camp is equating weather and climate when convenient and beneficial to the cause and then hide behind the scientists that are sticking as closely as possible to the scientific method when someone calls you on it.
Just an illustration of most of the examples mentioned in the summary. They were all something that the media outlet was already thinking.
Palin to Al Jazeera? Sure says Washington Post, "It's just confirmation of what we believe". Same for the several fake check tabs containing racist or "homophobic" rants. The media believes America is racist and homophobic, so the stories were just confirmation of their belief...no fact checking needed.
Likewise, Dan Rather believed that Bush was a draft dodging rich boy and wow, what do you know? Here are documents confirming his belief.
So the fake news isn't an instance of the media being fooled, it's an instance of their preconceived beliefs being confirmed...or so they thought.
For $50k you are talking a ton of useless frill upgrades (if you can even get that high) or a F-250 or larger. THOSE trucks do have the need for steel.
Your agenda is showing...
I'd really like to forward everything to a different service. Anyone have any ideas?

We addressed this problem in the mid 90's and the solution was working well. It was undone in the last two years of the Bush Admin.
I believe the cause of Pregnancy is well know, with simple and cheap ways to avoid it.

Your argument is with the IPCC
Yeah...too much soda, not enough water.
Take heed everyone.
Actually, that's pretty much the standard treatment once they confirm it. Pain control, lots of water, and wait for it to pass.

Let hunters field armed drones to disable or shoot down PETA drones
Now that's a reality show I'd watch anytime. You would need gun camera's and something flammable on board.
It was so much fun to read about their drones being shot down and PETA's incredulous reactions to it.
"Starting in 2018, four astronauts will leave for Mars every two years to bury the previous four..."
Fixed.

"Initially, the attack was being treated as vandalism and handled by local law enforcement,"
Because we know a terrorist attack is impossible. Obama killed Bin Laden.

I wonder when I can get an aluminum Mustang so I can polish it like a P-51.
Sweet.
