...if you could invest into the market, which has returned an average of about 10% over the last 30 years, all the money that has been confiscated from you in the form of social security taxes, how much money would you have now?
If you look at History and the various technologies that have come along, you notice that there is one kind of technology that enables most others...transportation.
Whether it's inventing a wheel, canoe, ship, automobiles, etc. enabling someone to get from A to B quickly and easily is the key to creating the huge, glorious stuff once you are there.
So too with space. Don't try to be the first to Mars. Be the first to make getting to Mars cheap, quick, and easy. Don't be the first to put up a giant space station, be the first to make putting space stations up quick and easy. Don't be the first to establish a Moon colony. Be the first to make regular or on demand supply runs to that colony.
So focus on launch capabilities and, once in space, the ability to go from A to B without years of planning and relying on being shot across space on chemical rockets.
Actually, This is exactly what being a Republic is all about.
States can do this. So now what happens is we get to see how this affects the speeds and the revenue. If it is overall positive, then it can be reconsidered at the Federal level. If it turns out to suck, then maybe not.
It is a new washer...not even a year old yet.
And my clothes come out just fine, thank you very much.
See...now THAT'S funny.
Someone mod him up.
You jest. But the discussion is already filled with ACs who'd just as soon see someone dead than be civil about their political opponents.
My washer uses tech from 20 years ago. It cost $250 delivered. The latest washers cost nearly $1,000.
My clothes still come out clean. And the Dryer dries them.
Technology for technology's sake is a waste of money and I'm afraid that computers have reached the appliance stage for regular consumers.
Chicago, and other cities, should probably wait until they see this concept in regular service for six months.

No different than the tactics used on Youtube videos and other social media platforms.
I'm losing track of who ate whom.
Time Warner was consumed by Spectrum. So is AT&T buying Spectrum or some leftover part of Time Warner?
...how many stories have we read about dead rovers that miraculously come back to life after a mysterious "cleaning event"?
But here we are pronouncing the death of a rover due to a dust storm.
See?
This is the bullshit I'm talking about.
Watching TV online.
That's a wash
Ironically the first Science Advisers were to advise on how to make a nuclear weapon and immolate people a few hundred thousand at a time.
Interesting stance for the NYTs to take.

I wonder if they did at 5:30AM, with guns drawn.

Dear AC Asshole.
I have relayed your suggestion to the "Geniuses" at the Apple store. The same ones who told be the phone could not be recovered.
We should use it.
Designs exist for reactors that would enable you to burn it all down to practically a chunk of lead, all while extracting energy.
the fuel is free
But unreliable.
Just ask my son.
All they have to do is put out an update that bricks the fucking phone.

Red flame and black smoke vs Yello flame and white smoke.
Also, a pistol grip on the handle vs a spatula grip on the civilian version

It's how America was designed to work.
