  1. Fake Facebook Account on Top Communications Union Joins Group Pushing for Facebook's Breakup (bloomberg.com) · · Score: 2

I made one just to watch my kids in events that are live streamed on Facebook.

Have to say it seems pretty useless otherwise. It's illogical in design, shit you dismiss keeps coming back, they keep suggesting "friends" for my fucking fake person.

    It's actually a bit creepy.

  2. Citation needed that Apple bricked the phone?

  3. The phone was six months old.

  4. I can't afford to keep upgrading to the next version because Apple fucking bricked my current one with their fucking updates.

What the fuck with the logic that faster than light travel is impossible and since no one can do it and subsequently hasn't' visited us, then there must not be anyone?

The idea that we are the only ones in billion and billions of stars and planets is preposterous and pretty fucking arrogant.

  7. One more reason to not answer any calls not in your contact list.

Chaps my ass that Android Droid Turbo doesn't have a feature to send ALL calls not in the contacts to voice mail and to easily block them.

    Yes.

Some people are very comfortable with the idea that others are lessor than they are and some are not. Not trying to be snarky, but that's the truth.

Had a friend with a pretty good business going who was involved in a patent lawsuit. They hired some fancy Beverly Hills attorney who was supposed to be the best. They were at a dinner at some nice place in Beverly Hills when, after dinner was over, his wife started collecting up the dishes and making neat piles for the waiter to take away. The attorney made a point of saying, "they have people for that".

If you have ever thought or uttered those words, you should consider partaking in some very deep self reflection.

  19. That is probably a better way of awarding damages like this.

Get away from $X and go to % of net worth.

The only way to punish a company is to ultimately punish the shareholders. And the only way you punish the share holders is to take money out of their pockets and the only way you can do that is to impact the company's bottom line. When a fine or damages is awarded that affects the stock price negatively, THEN it is an effective fine.
