1. Microsoft uses its power to hurt other products by using its monopoly as a threat. If you dont do what they want such as pull OS/2 from the HP machines at Comdex or remove the PS/2's from this show.
2. This is just more evidence that they need strong regulation.
3. If you would open your mind, you would see that this is not a fight agenst but for the free market. Microsoft does not have a better product in the X-Box but they will use the power and weight they have to keep the free market from deciding who does have the better products.

Dude you need to check your facts. Bill G and Co have been buying favors in the country for a long time. Not the the right hasnt been cutting them deals. The current DOJ is bought and paid for by M$. BUT to say they havent been buying elected officials before Bush is just plain wrong.

There is no need for all sorts of new laws to cover another communication method and to prevent theft. After all when it really comes down to it discussion on the internet is speach and that is free in the US.
As for swaping another persons work or IP for your own gain that is also already covered by us law and as such should be ruled on the same. Now the debate that the High Court is hearing is what is the proper time that a work should be copyrighted.
