China hasn't stopped buying US bonds in fact they are buying even more now since they got burned badly on the stocks/commodities bubble and are scrambling for low risk investment like everyone else.
China doesn't want to buy US bonds, yeah but they have nowhere else to but their trade surplus.
US dollar won't hyper inflate without destroying the world economy and nobody wants that so it won't happen.
Then again this end of the dollar and impending hyperinflation doom has been coming for what, 30 years now? I'm not holding my breath.
