Have you seen the contestants on Junkyard Wars? I'm fairly certain that looks were a non-issue when they selected the contestants.
Speaking of Eudora, does anyone know where I could download the old version of Eudora light, the one without the ads? I'm talking about version 3.0.6. If anyone knows, a link would be appreciated.
Since when was apple ever number 1? I imagine they were #1 early on when they made their early machines, up until the IIe or so. This is just recollection, I may be wrong.

I can't wait until Netscape 6 is done, so I can skin it and finally have that Kill 'em All button I've always wanted.
420 was the police code for possession of marijuana at some point. It's come to be associated with marijuana in the US. If anyone remembers the exact origin, help me out. He's not refering to Hitler's birthday here.
If history is any indication, yes. I scanned this off the sleeve of Thin Lizzy's 1976 album Jail Break. Once the music companies figure out how to make money off MP3, they'll be the biggest defenders of the format, just watch. It's just like the movie industry and VHS.
Well said, I agree completely. MP3 sounds bad to me, even though I've got a good sound setup on my machine. Of course I'm one of two people I know with a turntable that don't work as DJs. That said, I think that's the reason that the use of napster in and of itself is a problem. If I listen to something a lot I automatically go out and buy it. Some of my napster using friends here at college are shocked that I actually buy music. After all, why would I? It's free, we're on a T1, it's fast. It's just shocking to me that so many of the people that have gigs of MP3s only have a dozen or two albums. If you're using napster becuase you're too cheap to buy an album, you've got it all wrong. If you use it (or a workalike) to get hard to find songs until you get to a music store that carries them, that's fine.

As an aside: A good music store for that sort of thing is papa jazz in Columbia, SC.
You seem to think gangster rap is the only type of rap there is. Perhaps you should listen to some rap other than that in the mainstream. There's a lot of rap that doesn't fit that image at all. Listen to the Roots, listen to Ozomatli, listen to The Jurassic 5, listen to any number of early rap groups. Gangster rap is only a small subset of rap as a whole. Additionally, the practice of using parts of other songs in other songs (for instance, Atomic Dog by George Clinton is used in dozens and dozens of songs), is similar to the open source ethic of being free to use code in new projects. Rap is not all gangster rap, and Linux is not all script kiddies. Both are just subsets of the whole, with bad reputations.
No kidding, I've got Ice Hockey for the NES, and if you play for about 10 minutes, you'll be in a world of pain. It's the best hockey game ever made (don't give me that Blades of Steel crap) but it's downright painful to play. Anyone know where you could buy one of those newfangled NES's that came out after the Super Nintendo? I seem to remember that they had pretty good controllers. -Flerg
Wow, this is news to me. I'm not thrilled about the prospects of having to use the new one, and I'd like a back up copy of the installer for the old eudora light (version 3.0.6) for the next time I reformat my hard drive. It seems as if it's been removed from the eudora site. I guess I'm not hardcore enough to use pine all the time to get the mail off the university network, but I don't want all the crap that comes with netscape mail, or outlook express. Also if anyone knows a good simple free email client, like the old eudora light, post, and let me know.
Looks like they're working on it. Geez, even if you wanted to do this, give people credit, you'd think if you were running linux in the first place, you're technically inclined enough to figure out how to install windows.
Run Lola Run : Yes, a highly recommended movie, with a great soundtrack. Find a friend that has a beast of a stereo system (or yourself, if you're like me) and hook up the VCR. Best movie I've seen in the last few months. And watch it in german, dubbing is bad.
Why would you want to detect cheap cell phones?
Duke is most certainly NOT part of the UNC system. It's a private institution, UNC is public.
I hear that Norm is using electric stain nowadays . . .

Alternatively, just use the partners link here. I'm pretty sure it doesn't require an account.
