According to a buddy I have who works for DISA, the spooks have been able to remotely monitor secured bluetooth hedsets via a PCMCIA device in a laptop that decrypts the conversation in real time for quite a while.
Heh... Our ASP.NET apps VASTLY outperform our CF apps. In fact, our CF app is currently dragging our web server to its knees under very little load. Try again.
In the web dev. world PHP wins over ASP.NET in almost every situation. You obviously don't write enterprise-level web applications then. If you do, then you're smoking crack.
Well, I'm not sure that will ever stop. As long as you're getting better at what you do (which you should always be) then you'll always tend to look back at your old code and think "Gross!".
What you don't understand about the difference between what Buddha/Confuscius said and what Jesus said is this: They said it in a negative light, as in, "I don't want my neighbor to kill me, so I won't kill him. I don't want him to steal from me, so I won't steal from him." It was all about what they didn't want their neighbor to do to them. Jesus turned that around, and took it further saying, If you want your neighbor to be kind to you, be kind to him. If you want your neighbor to love you, love him. He used a positive perspective on it. While they are similar, it is a big difference.

If you were using.NET 2.0 you could use a database dependency cache model which checks to see if data has been updated every so often, and if it has it flushes its cache and reloads the data.
Granted, you could also write it in Java, just saying that its readily available in.Net.
A suggestion: Shift Right-Click will auto-loot, thereby causing you to not have to worry about grabbing every item individually. It will pick up everything off the corpse.
TortoiseSVN is genius... I just started at a company last month who didn't have any organized form of SCM, with a couple developers using VSS on their own. Luckily several of us got forced on to a project which required intensive edit-merge-continue style SCM, so I was able to convince everyone to give SVN a try. After a day of using Tortoise they couldn't believe they suffered through VSS. Everyone involved in Tortoise & SVN deserves a hearty pat on the back.
Calm down man. I had totally forgotten I had the freeipods thing in my sig. What do you mean 'content like this'? The guy asked if he could have my ipod (which I've already received) and I told him I'm giving it to my wife. Get a life.
Eh, I doubt that. I just spoke to Paul on Meetro and he called this /. post 'Hillarious' because they're just rumors.

BTW... It's Walking Tall, not Standing Tall... And The Rundown was about him chasing a guy, not a girl.

I'm in the same boat with ya though.

Ergo, vis-a-vis, he cannot possibly be The Architect. Concordantly, I woke up with a rather funny looking white goatee this morning.

Best. Post. Ever.

Wasn't that Wesley Snipes in Blade?
I bet you pronounce nuclear, 'nucular' too don't ya?
Ok dude, major props... I haven't laughed that hard outloud at a slashdot post in a potted plant-turned-whale's age.

Search for dotnet instead. It works.
When I do that I usually end up with really long posts rather than numerous posts... :P
Judging from DU meter activity while on a Skype call, about 5KB/s up & down. Add 5KB/s for each user on a conference.

There. Are you happy? My sig is now something much more suitable for replying to someone such as yourself.
