    All those electrons must be costing AT&T something fierce for them to charge for their total movement. Makes me wonder when the electron pool will run out.

    You're thinking of Sprint. They still have unlimited data plans. And as long as they do they will have me as a customer. I rarely go over 2-3 GB/month but I like that when I have Pandora running I'm not worrying about how much I am paying to listen to each song should I go over my limit.

    Who cares? Windows nor any other OS.. (remember the whole cocoa/carbon debacle with OSX?) gives any guarantee that APIs will never be deprecated.

    What volume? I think I've only seen a couple of Windows phones outside of a mobile phone store. One was owned by a Microsoft employee and the other 'won' it in a Microsoft developer conference.

    Microsoft went downhill when Billy relinquished the reins, and the hill wasn't that ... mountainous to begin with.

    Absolutely, Say what you will about Bill Gate's business practices but he did have vision (not on the scale of Jobs but he could still be called a visionary). Ballmer on the other hand is simply the world's biggest Apple and Google copycat.

    They did. It would have been a lot more to search 97 million documents by hand.

    If only Google had access to technology for indexing and searching vast amounts of documents and displaying the results in, say, a Web browser.

    Patent trolls are only interested if you have enough money to make a lawsuit worthwhile, so until you are profitable or at least get VC funding pattent trolls aren't much of a problem.

    Windows NT has been out of support for a very long time. Even windows 2000 has been out of support for a while.

    Given how much SAP costs, you think they could afford to upgrade to win2003 at least.

    Given how much SAP costs, I'm guessing a lot of companies haven't been able to get budget approval for an upgrade that runs on a supported version of Windows. (Particularly in light of the epic cost overruns that are typical of a SAP deployment.)
