The root user is disabled by default. If you can log in to your Mac with an administrator account, you can enable the root user, then log in as the root user to complete your task.
Motorola might have a nice phone, but this ugly projector thing it sticks to? 2017? Not very trendy these days, better implement a BT or similar device.
The PI is sold everywhere, at the site + amazon etc... got mine quickly. Sure if you try to get the latest thing the next day, that could be challenging.
That's basically 750 x $50, ~$40k - for that price you should find something powerful without having to deal with the burden of handling 750 machines (plus the R.Pi cpu is not a ferrari)
Google Chrome might have some proprietary APIs used by Google Maps that improve its functioning ; that wouldn't be surprising, and these would only be used by Google products. APIs that obviously Firefox cannot have.
Are you implying Ubuntu / Linux didn't progress? It seems that since the time you moved to Windows, you didn't give another chance to Linux. On the media side the progress is gigantic. Sure, to play most Windows games, still have to be a windowser.
The proposal does not extend to copyright-protected content, which includes music streaming services such as Spotify and Apple’s iTunes, electronic books, television series and movies.
By default, there's no root account.
Are you sure of that?

Indeed, that's the case
Doesn't work on mine (have 10.13.1)
You're too young...

I didn't even notice.
Of course slashdot removed the < and > the post was:

A language that has keywords like `static_cast` or `thread_local` has reasons to be hated.

Because Clear Linux must be less demanding in terms of system resources consumption, thus having more resources (cpu, IO...) let to applications.
with as much planning and strategy as the Third Reich.
Except Tobacco and Sugar target money, not people. Indirect killing is much less taken into consideration in our societies.
Nobody said Samsung were the only ones to do cheap tricks.
You are missing the point! This way the can emulate 750 core system at an fraction of the cost.
So, what point am I missing? The Xeon phi 7290 is 4k$ and has 72 cores, you can get 10 of those and get way more speed, shared memory benefit etc...

That's unusual. Have tried the new FF since first day (on Linux) and it is really fast, and doesn't take more mem than CHrome/
Hard to believe a +5 for an AC saying "Which leaves only deliberate behavior as an option"

Especially when money is involved.
57 millions, that means every customer, I suppose.

This is really a pity.
