Well, they also found it normal that copyright didn't go for 'foreign' products. A lot of early writers, musicians, filmmakers and inventors found out about that one. They also find it normal to get the world to sign ACTA, even if a 'bit' of pressure (read: threat) is used... And yet the USA wonders why about 90% of the people in the world hates the country. Now this will probably be mod down to troll by the same people that say they have such great free speech, completely ignoring the fact that a large part of the world hates the country and it's politics, not the people living there. I know some great american people, but boy, the politics suck! They really think at a high level they are Godlike. They know it all. And that is very silly considering the crime-rates, the unemployment rates, the ghetto's. The democracy in the USA is a 2-way choice. Democrats or Republicans. In the end they have 2 people to chose from. It's ridiculous and it's even more ridiculous the rest of the world under the threat of violence puts up with it.

Ho buddy. I don't know what they teach you there but the US never did a thing in the war until they got bombed by Japan. The years before that they gave us supplies for idiotic prices (lend-lease-arrangements where do you think those european army Bases you have come from?). Now, having said that, I have adopted the grave of an unknown American soldier lying in Margraten (Netherlands) but we were freed by the UK and Canada with a little help from the US. But the only reason the US declared on Hitler was because they needed the Allies to help them in the pacific theater. A very egocentric reason might I add. Plenty of very good books on that awful war and you should read a lot of them to get a good picture about what happened. I hear so many times young Americans make statements like 'you would have be speaking German' and that is a very false claim when you actually know how long it took the US and for what reason they got involved. So please, don't make statements like that. It's offending for a lot of people who were in the war from start to end.

Good for you buddy, keep it like that if you can. Here in the Netherlands even when a statement is true you can get 4 year prison. As an example. I have an uncle that loved me when I was a kid a bit too much for my good. If I would mention his name here in this same context that would be 'smaadschrift' and that would result in me paying him damages and me getting behind bars. No. Think about a (hehe) child (hell or even a Santax) playing between some cars. It is silent, I can hear nothing. I assume (since I know when I hear nothing there are no cars) I can safely cross the street. Only to Die by Prius. This really is one of the biggest disadvantages of these types of cars. You can't hear them, so your brain isn't in the alerted modus. If every car we have today would be silent you would see a great increase in traffic-deaths. So for me this worth applauding. Will safe some lives.

That is easy said. But I happen to make one part of my income with music... Can you press a nice looking album in good numbers? Can you distribute? Can you promote them? Those guys can... it is easy to fall for it. And Itunes? Well that is a product that attracts a certain kind of public. Not necessary a public that can see the difference between good music and a fucking promotion stunt... Hell, they buy their music on a medium where the Beatles have no place....... not that I am that big of a fan, but would you really buy music (as a real lover) in a store that doesn't have this part musichistory? It's easy said mate, but in the real world, those guys have all the things you need. And they are willing to sell it. They just don't tell you the real price. Don't get me wrong though, we agree, but this is not the musicians fault. Not at all.
