Also, max string length = 100 chars, over 100 chars you need to press "Search", same as with "porn"

Make in ME1 served perfectly to tie in the "travel" part of exploration providing a flow to your character's story. I feel like with ME2 they strayed away from this too much (no Mako, added load screens, summary screens, etc) thus breaking up the game into what felt like constricted segments at times. I hope in ME3 they can improve on this aspect and provide a better overall flow to the game.

Ditto. I didn't love the Mako, but I thought it was a fun aspect. I've played many vehicle-based games with far worse mechanics though, so nothing is really "bad" to me. The drudgery of keyboard-based (no mouse option) vehicle controls haunts me to this day for example :P

Next logical step is for this to evolve into a sort of a speeding ticket system. You get caught - pay a nominal fee and get X points on your name. Get caught enough times and they sue big time, till then you just keep paying nominal fees.

Not sure how I feel about it, but it sure as hell sounds more reasonable than suing 8-5 $35k/year crowd, kids with $5/hr dish-washing jobs and stay-at-home moms for millions of dollars.

This sentence, by stating that middle-end is running integrated and the top and bottom have been "lost", seems to imply that in fact the only people who run MS are the people on mid-end. That's the statement I am questioning.

Compared to ten years ago MS lost the top end to Apple, the bottom end to netbooks and most of the middle's running intel integrated crap.

Cite your sources for those numbers. I can honestly say none of my dozens of hardcore gamer friends and acquaintances use a Mac. Not sure where this statistic of yours is coming from.

Second, piracy is a real problem on the PC. Ubisoft did experiment with no DRM at all; that they came up with the total fubar they use now, should tell you how that experiment went. Apple users otoh are more likely to have more money than time.

Piracy exists on Mac OS, but there a far fewer games for it than PC, so once more games are released to Mac you'll see a steady rise of piracy as well.

I don't see what you're implying here - that Macs have more drives? My machine has 6 SATA ports with eSATA support and 1x SAS port. It also has support for up to 24GB DDR3-1300 RAM. If I wanted to, for $2500 I could have 6x 1TB drives as well as 12 or 24GB DDR3 RAM. Point out if I misunderstood your post.

Acomj pretty much nailed it. Looking at the hardware line-up, the machine I built when i7 came out was ~$1400 without a video card on the first day of release (overpriced). I leave out the video card since the rest of the components are either the same or equivalent with the exception of my video card. An equivalent Mac Pro is ~$2400 now (4 months after i7 release, i.e. cheaper) assuming $2500 less the price of the video card.
