I doubt you could even generate a similar load on your system. If it can't handle a small fraction of what we could easily handle over a decade ago, then something is really fucked up.
Yes but he was talking about exchange not qmail... Plus we often times forget to "think of the hackers's" when we decide on minimum hardware requirements.
It would probably work better if you called it "communism".
but that would have been so 1950's, plus no one fears communism in the U.S. anymore so I had to use a more modern catch phrase. I do know that some of you aren't in the U.S. and I apologize for any confusion...
Whelp, anyhow I'm off to pay my personal property and land/house tax...
Doesn't work... The teenage girls need to know you are dangerous and a murderer but that 'they' are somehow differnt and special and you aren't going to kill them...
That's the only way it seems to work.... Donno....
Step 1. Abduct teenage girls with proper blood type. Step 2. Drain them of said blood, Discard remaining husk. Step 3. Drain your tainted blood while infusing theirs. Step 4. Hire Amazing P.R. firm to make teenage girls love you. Step 5. Immortal Profit!
the point is that this distro is no longer going toward being the best of the crop, but is coming to tradeoff to gather money, and this is the wedge of the slippery slope.
I don't really see it as a slippery slope to trick yahoo into paying money to set the default search engine differently than google was paying them to do. Now if they some how forced you to use yahoo then ok.
Just because it's Linux and open source doesn't mean they aren't allowed to make any money. The question is and always has always been "does it hurt the end user in some way" I, for one, say no... this does not and has not...
every time here everybody is proclaiming to vote with your wallet, and then you come with this bold "you fail" statement?
That's just a saying here on/. that no one ever really does in real life. Yes I used a bold you fail statement because it's linux and if you don't know how to change the default search engine than you have failed. I think that should be very clear to anyone who uses linux. I use SUSE for desktops and Debian for servers right now..
There is not enough atomospheric pressure for it to turn into a liquid. It would go straight into a solid if it were cold enough. It would probably look like regular snow, which would make it a bit difficult to spot.
It worked! Now.. if we can only keep it from exploding!
Not really as everyone on slashie-dot are basement dwellers which can only survive at the static temperature of their subterranean habitat... Not to mention they would have to ask permission from their mommy and we all know what she would say...
People who have their local paper delivered to their door every morning by a real life 'person' tend to pay $5 or less a week so why is the online site so expensive?..
If I worked for the CIA I might just think that having the 'company's bot-net' cause even m0OO0r3 trouble for the Chinese would make for some pretty nice lulz....
I think you need to tighten up on your spelling.
But then no one would respond and I'm o so lonely down here...

Meaning the fax that comes through on the other side is mostly just blank sheets.
So... are you saying that the PTO has been giving out patents for blank pages all this time? Wow that explains a lot!
Just send every single tax filing both ways. The right one gets filed, and wrong one gets rejected. Twice the work for the government.
You forgot they loose the first couple... Best send 10 right side up and 10 solid black versions wrong side right.

When you can never really own anything it's called socialism...
Ok not really but I wanted to use socialism in a sentence and I think it still works to get the idea across.
welcome to fake capitalism. nothing new to see here, run along and do as you're told, not as we do.
Do you think that you can rent a DVD then charge people to watch the DVD at your house?
Yes... and I just uploaded 24 songs to kazza and switched my car insurance to GEICO..
do they believe in God?
Yes but he's a robot that lives in the sky and made them in his own image...
I wonder, if a robot program like this were let loose on the internet, and was capable of learning... what would it learn?
Asimov's rule 34?

If you kill Hitler you should be punished as much as if you kill your wife?
I'll take Godwin for the win...
And someone's botnet runs a Denial of Service attack in 3, 2, 1, 0, 65536, 65535... damnit... now I gotta recompile...
