    well, "vast" is actually referring to the word "amount" which is actually valid.
    See such phrases as "large amounts"

    Up here in New England (USA) we even have stories of deer venturing onto roads to eat cigarette butts and causing accidents, all because they are addicted. It is also just unsightly to see them all over roads and sidewalks.

    Yeah. Those damn deer should be kept well away from roads and sidewalks... They are a nuisance.

    Quarter of a finger... I reckon about 15 seconds, with about 10 for the meat to rest. Not something Jamie Oliver will ever teach you, but it might be a recipir for bypassing a few tests.

    You need to check for Pulse, temperature, pressure varience, revoaction (yes you need to know if someone has called the police to say they lost their finger, or eye),and also moisture i.e conductive charateristics, secondary factor controls such as a pin number, and behavioural anomalies (i.e. why are you drawing money out in nebraska when you live in bermondsey.).

    In other words, average it all out and use your brain, or whatever silicon passes for it....

    Believe it or not I taught ethical hacking to the guys that maintain that kit, down near Biggin Hill. Nice bunch of lads, and very screwed on technically and from a sec poin of view.

    Cut a long story short: Kit that would make your eyes water; they specialise in gettin robust pieces of kit into a 747 with 0 air gap, and when it is all rolled off the plane *it* *just* has* *to* *work*

    Some would think it out-dated, but, hell. I taught them on a Ti Powerbook ;-)
