    You are assuming that the physical object is unchanging. It, however, gets cleaned periodically. That has been a long-troubling aspect of the standard that has received attention before, as cleaning, no matter how careful, undoubtedly removes more than just contamination.

    However, if you support real democratic elections in Egypt, then you're almost certainly going to get an Iranian-style theocracy that'll never have real elections again.

    Hate to say it, but that's what democracies mean. When the majority of people want something and vote it in, they should get it. Even if you (and I) don't think they really mean it, or will like what they get. Treat them like adults.

    One man, one vote, one time.

    Doing martial arts as a kid is a wonderful way to learn self-control, among many other benefits. I'm half convinced it cures ADHD, too, from my personal experience.

    It was no ordinary turtle. It is called a dragon turtle which is huge in size with a dragon head: http://www.kunde.org.tw/image3/01-book-032.jpg

    Legend said that it carried strange messages on its shell. The messages looked simple (as you can see in the picture above) but people later found the complex meanings behind them.

    This is one of the most famous OPA (Out of Place Artifact) in China history.

    If it were a mock turtle, would the messages be wrong mockingly?

    Most certainly no. If someone thinks I'm wrong, then the remedy is obvious. Have the machine reviewed by a lot of people. If Stephen Hawking, Phil Plait, and Paris Hilton all say it works, then I'll believe it too.

    Does "Its Hot" mean "it works?"

    So do corporations.

    C.f., the Banana Wars and the United Fruit Company, and the "privatization" of the Iraq war. Oh, and let's not forget the US railroads in the 19'th century. Among other things.

    I love how you guys try to absolve corporations of their sins. The doublethink in your head must be nearly crippling.
