Candice Schwager is apparently both a serial copyright infringer and someone intent on besmirching the photographers reputation. She seems to have no problems taking intellectual property and using it for her own purposes. And that blog post is bad enough I would even consider suing her for libel and defamation of character were I the photographer.
Since she is clearly lacking in ethics, I would be most curious to see what percentage of that "charity" actually goes to disabled children, and how much is eaten up by "adminstrative expenses" and salaries. I am going to guess its a scam.
16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
Since the word "fan" in the context of enjoying something a lot is a shortened version of the word fanatic, I would say he's describing pretty much the same thing.
Funny, I just checked itunes and it sells for 3.99 per episode. But only for season 1, so if you want to see season 2 you are apparently out of luck. Oh look latest episode in hidef and I can download it in a couple of minutes. Thank you pirate bay!
Umm, no. The courts are there to block the sewage congress is likely to spew from destroying the fundamental rights as defined by the US Constitution. Congress may pass a law, but the court has the power and responsibility to decide whether such a law violates the Constitution. By refusing to review the case at all and weigh in on whether the 700K fine violates the constitution, they have decided not to do their jobs.
The 8th Amendment states : "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."
The problem is that all of our checks and balances seem to have been subverted when the question of copyright comes into play. Perhaps the only way left is to get the NRA involved in changing the government's mind. And I don't mean through their political lobbying efforts...

Without Jobs, there would be no company. Woz didn't even want to sell the damn computer he built. I hear Woz is worth $100m today. Well, he owes that to Jobs. Because Woz would still have to work today if it wasn't for Jobs.
Woz was a clever engineer, but I think geekdom views him with rose tinted spectacles. He was not that great. The people making the microprocessors he used. Now those were the really great guys.
The government doesn't steal anything from the public. The government is the public. Facebook flourished because it was able to hire well educated american workers who were educated out of the public purse. They used roads and utilities and infrastructure, built and maintained out of the public purse. The Internet they got rich off of was developed using the public purse. The legal protections they enjoy to keep others from just stealing money out right or just bombing their corporate headquarters is paid for out of the public purse.
This asshole uses our country to get rich, makes use of the public resources we spend to enable our fellow citizens to pursue their goals and now doesn't want to pay back his fair share. Fuck him.
Umm, right, because the big blue share button in the top right corner of your google document is too difficult to meet your needs?
or perhaps in the Google drive file list when you right click on the filename and OH MY GOD, I can CLICK ON SHARE !!!
And how does Google "force" G+ on people? You are free to go to google.com and do a search without ever creating a username. You can go to youtube.com, maps.google.com, and use other google resources without being "forced" to use Google+.
Please, go around to the various churches. Especially the fundamentalist, hard-charging ultra-Christians. Spend some time in those churches and you will realize that if Jesus returned to the earth, he would spend most of his time yelling at those ultra-Christians for their behavior - until they shut him up by crucifying him again.
Actually, I think this is a violation of Google's 5th amendment right to avoid self-incrimination. I know that we've never applied the 5th amendment to corporations before, but if you think about the Citizen's United ruling, the Supreme Court has already said that corporations are people and enjoy 1st amendment rights. Why couldn't they enjoy 5th amendment rights as well?
In fact, I would enjoy seeing a corporation take a case like this to the Supreme Court and say, "I am legally a person and so the blah blah blah law shouldn't apply to me because it is a violation of my Nth amendment rights as a person.

No, she's a terrible person because she wants Newt Gingrich to be President.

Well, the way food prices are going, this might actually encourage piracy.
That is a very interesting argument.
We already have two parties that rape and pillage.

Apparently, you can give away sales tax in that manner.

Nope, linux looks to be pretty lively. And thats only considering ubuntu's flavor.
assumptions really did make an ass out of both him and you.
I don't know about that, we could send all those Dahmers to congress for a free buffet.

Yes, absolutely, I buy a box of Nerds every couple of weeks.

Doesn't matter, its the server side technology that the patent seems to be claiming ownership of.
interesting, they have a dedicated Patent page
http://www.worlds.com/patentinformation.html
Their page shows a first patent on:
April 17, 2001

nah, man. but if you've put enough majorana particles in the air, it can get pretty hazy.
I guess you wouldn't need an infinite number of monkeys after all.
