What's the concern over this? If you want to know how a company performed, read the damn 10Q/K. Those are archived here: http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml . Stop relying on press releases as real news.
Dude, look at the footnotes! The US figure includes American Samoa. That explains why our values are so high. Those Somoan fuckers eat, sleep and fart CO2.
And all this time I thought I was just blocking his stories!

Indeed! I haven't had mod points since Jan 2002. The last mod I made was on the infamous post: The first Slashdot troll post investigation. I have not had a single mod point since.
Indeed, and it drives me nuts. I have to share my only Windows PC with my wife. I don't mind except that I'm forever getting calls when I'm away saying "How do I kill your iTunes again?"
It's asinine that two different users cannot each run iTunes at the same time.
That's the hilarity of it all. John Young (owner of Cryptome) was asked by the people behind Wikileaks to be the owner of the domain (since it would end up being public, and Mr Young is no stranger to Government intimidation). He agreed and participated in the private mailing list, but became disillusioned after it appeared the creators had no actual product and were only interested in funding. He posted all the private and internal conversation his own site.
Read the two links I provided, and you'll get the story.
Short Version: This 'secure and untraceable' Wiki software probably doesn't exist, it's a PR ploy for cash.
Dude, you're full of it. Only some credit checks appear on your record are available to creditors. Ones done yourself are not. Ones done by mortgage companies do.
If someone from your company pulled his credit multiple times, *you* did fuck him.
# Does every inquiry affect a credit score? # Anytime your credit report is pulled - including when you order a copy of your credit report directly from the credit reporting agency - an inquiry is added to your report. Only some of those inquiries appear to creditors and therefore impact your credit score. Inquiries that were made for credit cards or loans for which you applied will be shown to creditors and are counted in a credit score. Inquiries added when you request a copy of your credit report or when an employer checks your credit report do not appear to creditors. We are pulling your credit report on your behalf, so the inquiry on your credit report will not be shown to creditors and will not affect your credit score.
When you request your credit report directly from Experian, it shows you ALL inquiries. This is done so you know who has been looking at your credit. Some inquiries on your report are accompanied by a description of why the report was pulled.

Let me sum it up here:
Two guys carring a small baggette fly in a plane, drive a car, and eventually walk to a remote area. They then place one half of the baggette on the ground, and claim victory.
I think I've got a video of a hair growing on my big toe that's more interesting.
Agreed. I don't have an HDTV, I don't need SuperXtremeFlashyMegaGrafX. I just want something fun to play that I won't need to sell my precious bodily fluids to afford.
Plus, now I can walk around saying where's the Wiimote?!
Having to click the ad to play will only dampen appeal to some advertisers. Webmasters and users will love the fact that it's a nice visual ad that does not play without user consent.
I'm sure Google will have advertisers lining up even with this "downside".
Right, because ALL Wal*Mart employees are cashiers or stockboys. You don't think they have a vast group of IT professionals and industrial engineers who may have the time/drive/financial interest in battling over the Wiki entry?

I was wondering the same thing with the Java tag. My thought is the editors are actually ignorant and biased.
Yeah, I was logged into your account and noticed that too....very strange!

...AMD promptly voided the warranty on all parts shipped to Iran. Let's see them try to RMA something now! Burned!
Googles Market Cap is $198 Billion. I think they can find the capital if need be.

Is having to hit Shift-= to zoom in(+), but just - to zoom out. I know I'd be technically hitting = to zoom in, but at least it feels natural.
Right! Well, them and a former college age hacker turned Mob IT manager turned world saviour.
Think of it Marty. No more rich people, no more poor people, everybody's the same

If you maintain a library that is used by customers, that would be a *very* big issue. You just broke backwards compatibility for a spelling fix.
Overall, the answers to the submitters question are absolutely horrible so far. If the tool he's searching for doesn't exist, it damn well should.

Damn that Ted Stevens! He's infected our tubes with some type of virus.

Hey! This is Slashdot, we don't like 'facts' around here. They have an obvious bias towards the truth.

Since when did scaremongering become fashionable?
